  1. I think the release looks great.... but I won’t be collecting. Mortals probably would have pushed me into a yes but without them, I’ll move to something else. Unless Warcry has some good conversion fodder to make marauders and warriors. Love Shalaxi Helbane though - fantastic model.
  2. Except we don’t know that for certain. We know that the video contained an animated squig and a bug. That is all we know. Unless you work for GW, in which case you may know more.
  3. Sylvaneth and Gloomspite seems likely but there is no evidence at all that it’s a box set. Could be a board game. All we’ve got is a 30 second animated video with a squig hopper and a bug - could be anything.
  4. I’ve only seen the one piece of art above. Are there some I’ve missed?
  5. Sooooo...... if Slaanesh mortals are on the way, what do you think we’re gonna see? Bit boring maybe but I still love the Marauder and Warrior archetypes and GW still dabble with it - Kairic Acolytes and Bloodreavers = marauders, Blightkings and Blood Warriors = Warriors. I’d love to see Slaaneshi versions. Updated kit for the Hellstriders would be nice too.
  6. To be fair, that was purely fan-generated hype and speculation. And it never made a lot of sense that GW would do a massive, game changing event so soon after Soul Wars. Personally I’m thinking the seminar will preview a new battletome, the rest (if there is any) of Slaanesh, Looncurse and some more Warcry. And an army reveal video that doesn’t actually reveal anything.
  7. I’m pleased that they asked about scenery, definitely an area I think GW have plenty of room to grow.
  8. Really like the yellow there Elmir, awesome stuff.
  9. Slaanesh does seem the most likely to be released next. Warcry is Summer (gotta assume Northern Hemisphere) and I don’t think they’ve got any other major previews at the moment.
  10. When did GW say that? We had it as a rumour a few days ago but I don’t think it was linked to GW.
  11. 14 more Battletomes this year seems like a stretch, even with GW’s increased release schedule. I could definitely see them getting the existing Battletomes updated though. Haven’t been on Faeit for a long time, it just became re-posts from the Warhammer Community site - has Natfka had any reliable rumours for a while?
  12. I feel like the Great Horned Rat should be the true successor to Malal - true anarchy and chaos for chaos’ sake. At the moment there is a little too much Nurgle and Tzeentch in there for me.
  13. Personally, I think this part of the rumour is just wishlisting but it could always be Slaangors.... AoS kit with 40K conversion kit available like the Tzaangors. That would be nice. Personally prefer humans but I’d never say no to more Gors. Or both. Both would be best.
  14. I don’t disagree with anything you’re saying, just skeptical by default. 😁 If we do get Slaanesh mortals than I’m going to have to build a big combined Chaos mortal army, units from every God. Got a Khorne army but Slaanesh means I would have to get Nurgle and Tzeentch too. Don’t ask me about my logic, that’s just how it is.
  15. I love the idea of it as a lure, pulling enemy units towards it if they stray too close. Or maybe slowing their movement as they struggle to move away.
  16. That’d be great. I’m just skeptical because normally they put a “loads more coming” in the community article but there wasn’t anything like that for this one. Fingers crossed though. I’m not a big fan of Daemons but mortals would definitely pull me into a Slaanesh army.
  17. I would like to see Mortals released but I think they would have shown them. They seem like they should be relatively easy to convert though - kit bashing some DOK with some Kairic Acolytes and Dark Eldar Wyches would probably be a pretty solid start.
  18. So it seems to me like the Chaos warbands are all going to be from a different realm - the article says the Iron Golem are from Chamon and the other guys from the reveal trailer have a real Ghur vibe. I really like that. If that proves true, what other realms do you think we’re going to see? Guessing nothing for Realm of Chaos or Azyr.
  19. Personally don’t care in the slightest what they do with the non-Chaos warbands - it’s Chaos all they way for me. And I’m really hoping the different warbands will be useable in a Slaves to Darkness army. I’m going to anyway, even if it’s just proxies.
  20. It does make me laugh at people who claim Warhammer is becoming a kids game - Slaanesh still brings all the kinky stuff to the table.
  21. Well I like the way Warcry is shaping up and the Slaanesh stuff looks great. Definitely happy with this showing. Shame Fyreslayers aren’t getting expanded but I don’t collect them so not a biggy for me personally.
  22. Just to throw another theory out there - could the rumour engine be Slaanesh? It does look very Aelvish but I could definitely see it in a Slaaneshi mortal army.
  23. Looking good. I’m generally not a fan of the Bloodletter models but the muted tone really makes them work for me.
  24. I think what I’m most looking forward to is the different factions being a big showcase on the diversity of Chaos. It’ll be so good to see things outside the four archetype armies of the Chaos gods.
