  1. I could imagine that our healing will be something like "Rally can be used even if the unit is in combat" and "rally can be issued up to two times per Character with Keyword X in the army" Apart from that likely changes: A fix for Black Knighs -> Grave Guard on Horses A fix for Blood Knights -> Range 2 +1 rend A fix for Zombie Dragons -> ramping up the damage is needed. A fix for Terrorgheists -> Damage ramp-up! An actual role for Giant Bats Increasing the usability of Neferata Wished Changes: Generalisation of Vyrkos units - Most named Characters become generic characters. Undead Ogors bodyguards become generic. Vargskyr becoming a real threat and generic. (it'd be such an easy home-run) WAY punchier Vampier Lords More Powerful Necromancers (let them ride a corpse cart again) Heavily ramped up Damage and usability of each Coven Throne, Palaquin and Mortis Engine unit (these guys have been banned to the cabinet for 2 Tomes in a row) Making Nagash scary again, please? Just to name a few ideas (SBGL are my favourite (for 16 years) and oldest faction, I have an endless reperoire of ideas concernign them)
  2. „Battletome: Soulblight Gravelords is dedicated to these thirsting horrors, featuring new warscrolls and pitched battle profiles for the heroes and shambling fodder of five full undead dynasties“ this creates some hope for powerful combat vampires! (can‘t change the text Color on mobile gor some reason)
  3. Maybe the price was a little absurd *cough* I liked the upgrade sets but they‘d have had to tripple the contents in order for me to spend that amount of money.
  4. Imo there’s nothing to add to the responses up to this point except for a summary tldr: - Grand Hammers have a clear role -> jump in and smash - Shield Annihalators suffer from a lack of rend and they die to even a few mortal wounds. Their role as tank is too easily compromised. - They’re too few to contest objectives (so they have to kill anything that contests, which Grand Hammers are better suited for) ——— Overall the discussion is interesting since I still have an unbuilt box of Annihalators and I tried to reason with myself if it males sense to build the shield version (I like the style)
  5. That‘s true. However the Cities of Sigmar (Excelsis) and many others also have a big presence in Ghur. Cities for example has access to an equal (or even more) monsters (not talking about the keyword) than Destruction has. Imo Destruction might not get anything out if the era of the Beast, and the interpretation that they would was probably wrong from the start.
  6. I am wondering: Why is the general assumption that Destruction should get Models in the Age of the Beast? afaik they stand for destruction and against civilization - they do not stand for beasts. Granted, they tend to be feral in their assaults, yet quite far from beasts imo. Beastmen would be the first that come to mind as well as bestial subfactions (Avengorii, Flesh Eaters, maybe)
  7. I just hope the upcoming SBGL BT won’t be one of those Copy & Paste Tomes
  8. Imo only index Subfactions are binned because there aren’t any when the game launches
  9. Depends on the wording of the ability. If it allows you to use the same command a second time then it should be fine.
  10. Reminds me of my cats. I corrected the Image for you
  11. Let’s not talk about the mould lines which stretch across every single part like a thick, detail swallowing, fin.
  12. So if old SCE Models are getting a rework. Would it be a save bet to sell my Dracothian Guard now to buy the new one later this year? What do you think?
  13. I‘d add a Deathrattle Kingdoms Subfaction, making those wights casters and scary.
  14. They actually wield two classic medieval german weapons: Rabenschnabel (Raven’s beak - the mace) Messer (the sword. Peasants were forbidden to carry swords, so they forged a big knife - only one blade, and called it knife „Messer“)
  15. You could use them as proxies (Phoenix Guard). apart from that: Yup, sell it.
  16. Good morning guys, this is the first time GW‘s superlatives like „massive reveals“ were actually true. I liked everything they‘ve shown: - 40K new Edition: Sounds good, but it always does until it doesn’t. I like they updated Datasheets. Nice, long render trailers! - The Lion: Rad! I love the Knight vibes he‘s oozing (those helmet options are insane!) - Tyranids: Sweet! - Terminators: Damn it’s about time - Seraphon: Veeery happy. The Aggragon riders are ace. The Kroxigors are a dream come true! - Ossiarch: So the image we thought was a exaggerated boneshaper turned out to be a model and a nice one at that! - Soulblight: Nice hints of red riding hood, Cinderella (-Bird- Bat friends) etc. great Model. I have high hopes gor the Battletome! - Underworlds: Are those Stormcast Thunderstrike Evocators? Sweet poses! - Tzeentch: Wicked! - Beastmen: (Proxigors 🤣 that was a good one). Easily converted to some kind of fantasy Gor. - Votann: Deep Rock Galactic calls
  17. Pretty sure it’s more of a were-ape than wolf. The human foot us just an ape paw.
  18. @Whitefang any hint if we might be seeing new Idoneth Models this year? 🥹
