The Rumour Thread

The crawl pit abomination. It’s clearly a new beast combining the chunkiness and strength from a gigantic crab , while still having some speed through the many skavenslaves devoured in making this abomination crawling from the pits of the moulder clan. definitely a new skaven model, Yes-yes -
This randomness is exactly what makes them so appealingly fun to take

You mean the metal and finecast halve of the skaven that makes almost 75% of our army out. Yeah well I think calling it lazy is the better word. (But hey it’s better they are lazy then to just have to wait another 3-5years) also I doubt Ogors in general will loose they’re range. There may be a few models who’ll get lost in the vortex of legends but definitely not a whole range. -
I ususally put the fault of loosing to one of my underlings, meaning that everything would have gone just fine if this one guy didn’t mess it up. as for dealing frustration, that’s one way the other is to just figure out how my enemy plays and start scheming and plotting against him, until one of my plans works. But should everything fail I’ll still have a few clanrats left to blame.

Hi there just finished converting a warlock bombardier, thought this might give you guys and idea of what to do with all of your poisoned wind mortars. anyways her we have skagsnik scratch the suspicious master-acolyte of the city of Pillars the base might be a bit bigger than actually allowed, buut the smaller base just wouldn’t have had the space to carry both of them and having the base a bit bigger gives you also a bit more space for basing.

Warpstone sparks! How do you think the hell pit abomination comes to existence😜. -
There are three reasons why Stormvermin are a reasonable part of my armie. firstly they are a beautiful unit, which will look amazing in 40s. secondly they have become a battleline option for General skaven, meaning it can give you a bit of variety instead of always using a ton of clanrats. thirdly, and the more tactical reason I use Stormvermins is because literally what you guys all mentioned is that they are outperformed by much cheaper chaff, meaning that most players won’t be expecting any Stormvermins seeing play in tournament. Although like you all mentioned, I too believe that Stormvermins need a point reductions of at least 20p. they are great but can show this greatness sadly only in units of 40s meaning any other size will be useless in game. if they’d cost around the 400p (420) for 40 I could see them beeing used more often in the future while sill not beeing too strong like other units are right now.

1.yes the suspicious stones protection can still be used, even if this model has a similar ability (for example protection of the horned rat) 2. All of your warlock engineers are able to bump up the damage of your warplightning cannon. Meaning the bombardier and Arch warlock are also classified in doing this kind of repairs.

Hi @Maier666, where are your 160clanrats at? they seem to have gone missing. jokes aside, I for one really like your second list, since it gives you some great missile support (and a bit of rolling doom surprise for your enemy). your staying power is a bit lacking but I’m guessing your green-thing playing partner has your back at this (although remember to clutch a shield on your back just in case. The skaven race isn’t the only factions that likes to get a bit stabby). Anyways Good luck and happy wargaming.

Your lists looks good. The only thing I’m missing is somekind of a melee damage dealer, butsince your going out on soo much heavy shooting I don’t really think you’ll need it. Still battleshock will be a problem for you.

No it isn’t a problem if you give the leader a warpickaxe. it’ll still count as a halberd. as for shields, you should be able to equip all of them with one, although I would just put some on the back if there isn’t any free place on their arm.

Nah we’re only following the lore. its not ignorance more like forgetfulness. Its hard to remember a faction that has been living hundreds if not thousand of years under the water🤗😅. Suffered? Must be mistaking this faction for the old grumbling dwarfs, the true saviors of the deep warrens. -

Well they where more succefull than the poster-things ever will be. we all know the truth Don’t underestimate the ogors mate, it just might happen😂 -
Well I’ve played 1500p against them. I would just protect your flamers by clanrats and hope he won’t be shooting at them. in other words take some with you like a hell pit abomination or a Verminlord, who’ll take the enemy’s attention and get shot rather then your flamers.

You mean that poster we were all so convinced that skaven would have been released? Yeah I’m going for that out of no where release explanation. And remember misinformation Kills-kills (Yes-yes) -
Put a painted nightrunners model next to a gutter runner model and ask your friends which is which. they usually won’t recognize the gutter runner since it looks so much familiar to the nightrunners. There isn’t really a different, both of them carry the same weapons rulewise and from looks, they are both old and not really great for the eye. I used those Nightrunners one on a tournament and well nobody knew that I was actually using nightrunners models as gutter runners. as long as you don’t play both variants it all should be fine.
