If anything I would expect 2 man dragon ogor units with a champion forcing you to split attacks etc etc would be the big cheese. Not getting frenzy (the worst "buff" in the game) on one unit or getting to reroll fireball wounds. But I again could be wrong.

Idk mate. I'm probably among the leftist leaning people on this site and I didn't think of that but if so it's pretty apt to put it on a bunch of miserable mangy rats. On the topic of these rats it makes me so sad because Skaven were the first thing that got me into Warhammer Fantasy actually. I still have a decent collection of them in a box and if it wasn't for GW being GW I would be so excited right now. Probably buy in and start another army but after having my miniatures spit on by some GW suit now I feel nothing for these awesome minis. I think GW have given me hobby depression not real depression but that "I can't enjoy the things I used to love" but only in relation to tiny plastic men lol

Bringing them back from where? I mean I know it's now what you meant but also they're literally not gone as they will continue to sell them for ToW. This is not a "get over it" post. It's me saying GW only has to do the BAREST work in the form of a book they are already releasing to make them playable at least until the end of the edition and even going forward. Like if you told me "BoC will get no new models" but kept giving them rules updates I'd keep playing because I already thought they'd never be updated lol

@Luperci Most ToW players aren't using newly bought kits because they literally can't. This drip feed release of the factions has squandered all the massive hype ToW had at launch. By the time they release wood elves or whatever they'll have lost out on TONS of impulsive buyers (including me) that would have jumped right on the bandwagon when the iron was hot. @EonChao The beasts of chaos range isn't being "shuffled around" in any kind of way that actually reduces the load on production because they are still entirely available for ToW. Combined with the shocking blow to consumer confidence that is squatting last editions release faction I think it's pretty safe to call the squatting anti-consumer. It certainly isn't pro consumer and judging from the reaction of the customers I'd be hard pressed to call it neutral either so anti consumer is the only option left.

Strongly agree with this post, but I think people as mad as me are in the minority. Most people are still going to be excited about everything that gets posted/revealed. I mean yeah every post does have SOME angry comments but idk about pure coldness (even if I do kinda wish they would so GW couldn't pretend people aren't upset)

Yeah he could but I know he won't. And it wouldn't matter anyway because if he means 5+ years from now then I don't care if they're coming back.

I really wish you could just say that Beasts are going to come back as more mutated monsters further down the line. I know you can't but I wish you could.

Or if they "aren't selling well" by some invisible metric they don't show us. How safe are FS? I don't personally know any players. Or maybe they'll release a new unit that has "rules overlap" despite the fact they literally make up the rules themselves. I'm obviously exaggerating for emphasis. No they're probably not going to get rid of newer kits without warning, but how many people said "there's no way beasts get squatted" and who called 6 year old minis from one edition ago as the next big cut? Yes things get cut in warhammer. But it's getting faster and faster as they push this card game business model. If the pace keeps up who knows where we'll be at the end of 4th and why should we trust that it won't?

Oh to be fair I guess that's my opinion. I think we should be happy for everyone when they get a new model even when it isn't ours. The only times I wasn't was things like Ogroids and Kragnos that felt like they should have been beasts. I'm just miffed that so many people seem to object to the idea of this news being upsetting to people.

Man it just occurred to me that we're all supposed to be happy when someone gets a new mini even if it isn't for us (and we generally are) But we aren't all supposed to be upset when someone loses a mini? Should I complain about how every miniature they release affects the number of kits they can support?

This is why I was so angrily adamant that those were tzaangor NOT beastmen. @Ejecutor not if you just keep selling them as AoS kits like Gloomspite mangler squigs that also have ToW rules.
