skappa
Awesome work on your bases. Wher did you buy the hood and mushrooms ?
Ademo
Thanks guys! The wood is just bits of chopped up sections from my giant kit - the weapon parts I didn't use. Mushrooms are a mix of gstuff made and some resin shrooms from ristuls market. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Ademo
I decided to have a go at a swamp to go with the army! Pleased with it overall and just few bits to tidy up once the resin sets fully.Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
CoffeeGrunt
I like it a lot, looks very murky. I'd personally say that a really good aesthetic might be mimicking the Dead Marshes from Lord of the Rings might be sweet. A few spare Skeleton Warriors submerged beneath the murk, sleeping, waiting. Ademo
Good idea - will try it if I do another one!Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Routasydän
I agree with coffeegrunt definately worth trying if you do more. theres some depth to the pool and thats real nice, personally Id do death bases with a tad darker colours but hey, thats just me. Really liking the bases and the piece of scenery though, dont get me wrong. Hosts look ace too!
Solaris
Love the swamp, what did you use for the water?
Ademo
Thanks@solaris ! It's actually a 2 part resin that my dad randomly gifted me! Stinks to high heaven but sets rock solid so v durable!Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Ademo
Ok, rather naff photo but I started on some skellies! Base coated and washed so far - trued to go for quite tribal/ancient brit colours with no real uniformity other than shared pallet - the trick will be striking a balance between bold colours and weathering/decay.Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Double Misfire
I'll agree that it's not the best photo, but those skellies are stunning. I particularly like the faded spiral design on the centre-right guy's shield. As always keep up the amazing work!
CoffeeGrunt
Really loving the Celtic vibes from these, great work!
Ademo
Here is my tester skellie! Tried a bit of light sponging in areas to add some grime but was keen to keep the paintjob fairly clean! Fairly pleased but feel it will look better in a unit.Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
hobgoblinclub
This army is looking great! If I end up building a Death army, it's definitely the way I'd go. The basing is excellent, particularly the mushrooms! They finish the minis of nicely. There's so many similarly painted spirit hosts out there, your basing sets them apart. Ademo
Thanks guys! Leaf litter is from greenstuffworld - though also available in gardens/parks [emoji23] think they are just birch seed case thingsSent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Ademo
Bit of illness over the last few days slowed my progress but managed to get a layer of bone on the 9 remaining skellies and did a fair bit of work on a little rocky outcrop.Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Solaris
Looks great as usual, excited to see how the outcrop turns out!

Soulsmith
These are fantastic! I like me some clean skeletons really, the bone is great, anything special in the recipe?
Ademo
Thanks@Soulsmith - nothing fancy involved: baneblade brown, agrax, ushabti bone (1 or 2 layers) then final highlight of screaming skull!Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
