Thanks for writing this up. Lots of good insight here that many hobbyists can relate to. Hope you get a bunch of hobby time in 2019 and enjoy all of it!!!
Thanks! ^_^ I'm hoping to get my first painting of 2019 started tonight, got some khorne and 40k stuff to put some washes on and then start highlighting. Hope your year gives you plenty hobby time too!

Well that could still be used as aspiring deathbringer, for it has 32mm base. Of course outside some events the base sizes are not too strict.
Most of the bloodbound heros have 40mm bases
If you don't want to rebase that you could always glue that base to 40mm base and then base/convert it to look like she stands on small hill over a stormcast corpse. Would you have that skull kit from gw it could be made even look like pile of skulls by gluin them in the side of the smaller base atop of 40mm one. Just my 2cents
Yeah I was thinking of putting her current base on a new one. Easiest way. Skull pile would be good so she won't look out of place atop the shrine when used as my shrine priest. Aspiring deathbringer could also work though. Cheers for the ideas

Cool conversion on slaughter priest. What size base does it has? Slaughter priest seem to have 40mm bases on webstore.
32 mm. I'm gonna need to now check my actual slaughterpriest to see what base I should have 😧

She is looking pretty awesome! What pieces did you use? Looking foreword to seeing more.
Head: Stormcast easy build sequitor
Body: Coven throne handmaiden
Legs & sash ends: 40k Commissar
Upper arms: Sister of silence (barely noticeable)
Lower arms & backpack: Arkanaut Admiral
Base: Shattered dominion
And thanks :) I'm really excited to get started on this project. So hopefully more should be coming in the coming months!- 1

very very cool, though having a ethereal shark pulling the thing would have been awesome as well.
As much as I'd have loved to I do not have much money right now. Maybe for a black coach.

Thanks! Yes, I met 20 man strong Chaos with Exalted Hero, Chaos Knights, Reavers, Chaos Chosen and Chaos Warriors. It was looking grim for me, as it was mostly melee scrum-in-the-middle type of battleplan, but I was able to time my Knight Azyros's 8" Lantern Bomb (making d6 MWs to Chaos), which killed off most his knights and warriors and almost killed his general. And next round I killed the general and others ran away. Without the bomb I would have been in very hard situation.
Whilst the chaos lord within me screeches angrily at your victory the freeguild/DoK within me is glad to hear you managed it
Kudos on your well timed lantern bomb!

Nicely done! Just a name suggestion, what about having her last name be Van Helsing? Would be a fun twist.
That could be a funny possibility.
Which also reminded me my dad once wanted to start a vampire hunter mordheim warband (one of the fanmade ones) and call his leader Van Hire

Really nice list guide! I might have to try out something like this myself. I originally thought you'd have the blood stalkers for shooting but the celestar ballistas are probably more reliable. I do like the idea of having a range of options though, will have to toy with some MSU ideas myself. And much nicer on the wallet than hordes of witch elves
