    With the new StD book coming what could be the best coalition units to bring in? I for one, as a Total War player, like the idea of going heavy Tzeentch Warriors to replace the very meh Acolytes and Tzaangors.

    The problem is tournaments are the only real source of numbers that they can track. Reliable, sanctioned, monitored games are the only actual source of stats. GW doesnt and cant see when people are disappointed with X faction when your just hanging out at a local GW store. And then theres the people that dont play at GW stores. Their concerns are never heard. Forums like this, B&C, FB groups are nice and all but dont contribute to trackable stats to balance stuff around.

    At this rate GW will price themselves out of the next couple generations of new players. Once all the old guard are gone/done then thats it. No new players for the foreseeable future due to how the global economy is

    Even with the change to the rally ill still probably use units of 20 Warriors. They will still be very durable

    The one time I decide to buy a boxset and there is a nerf less then a full day after...I get it but still stings

    I want to use actual Warrior blocks and can you even take Bel'akor in an Everchosen list?

    What would be a good sub faction choice to spam Warriors and some Ogroids?

    I want to be excited but then I see how much they jacked up the cost of a single kit to be priced higher then box sets and im like 'na im out'

    What do you consider play testing? For me its a period that should be several months of none stop games and rules tuning. From a video game point of view this is known as alpha and beta testing. GW absolutely does not do this. Proper testing of complex rules interactions would and should take several months. But there is no way their release schedule allows for that. What they instead do is send beta copies of the rules to community influencers, they review them, give their opinion, then GW throws it out the window.

    lol they said they had playtesters and it went through a 'rigorous testing period'....I dont believe that for a second

    Hmm...but can you fit a unit of 30 ww a unit of 10? And if you could fit a unit of 30 whats to stop you from trying to fit multiple units of 10? I feel like its not intended to work that way

    Well I had a bad feeling and it was largely true...the basically just took the current book and took stuff away or left as is. Very few good/positive changes. And as usually the points costs are crazy bad but I think they point stuff wrong for AoS in general. Im not a fan of the only new faction ability forcing you to either buy an endless spell to use it or waste it completely. Looks like they reverted most of the box changes at least.

    Yeah theres is almost nothing out here for both DoT and LRL. Very strange

    Maybe their points would come down if they split on a 4+. Would be better for balance and not nearly as annoying for others to fight against
