40k is in a much better spot then it was in 9th. Now the whole tossing out super expensive rule books every couple of years is getting real old but what they did for the state of the game is better.
If they do the same for AoS 4th it wont be as bad as people think.
Of course if GW would go full digital the transition from edition to edition would be much faster and smoother overall.
If im reading this correctly then im the opposite. I hate how AoS is pointed due to everything being so heavily costed that im barely putting anything on the table vs the same types of stuff would be far cheaper and thus putting more models on the table in 40k
The only thing about 40k 10th I dont like was removing points from gear but also everyone hated that. Other then that 10th is running far smoother than then previous editions and its making AoS 3rd look bad with how bad the bloat and restrictions are.
All I was saying is that it makes sense for GW to go that route. Its safer and eaiser. I personally dont care about the full on ninja rats or plague stuff. I like having the options for assassins as agents but I lean towards the mad scientist route.
Moulder in general is a safe bet as Rat Ogres are such a classic iconic Skaven thing. So unless they change up the lore so that everyone can easily create Rat Ogres then Moulder is probably in for a 'refresh' along side the techno-gunkies. Rat ninja's are cool and all but way too niche as a whole playable subfaction
Ive been saying this for a while. If the studio didnt take a chunk of its resources to dedicate to warcray and underworlds then mainline AoS would probably be in a more advanced state then it is now.
Are people really caring about using a very limited range of factions in a very niche within a niche hobby for the possibility of actual tournaments? With only 9 factions I cant see tournament ever being a thing. All this talk about Legends is nothing new. Stuff gets dropped and support stopped quite frequently lately.
They are very hit and miss in general. They have great rules, then see some use, those rules get overhauled/nerfed, no one uses them and generally only one is used maybe. At this point if they vanished tomorrow not much would change as a whole.
Isnt the point of Skaven rumors or lack of rumors to cast doubt on their very existence? Seems to be working as intended.
GW: rat people? psssh...no...👀
This is a terrible way of thinking. Thats like if GW added a donate button to their webpage and people just clicked that.
If you dont like the minis dont buy them simply because.
