Thanks very much! The basing style originated from the Gor and Skin Wolves that I first painted: rocky terrain with some snow on it (so it can show up the blood spatters). I started off using a mix of PVA/Baking Power for snow, but have switched to Valhallan Blizzard (which is a bit lumpier, but a real time-saver). 

Now I'm adding more Chaos, I want to keep it all consistent, but I imagined the warband as roaming the wilderness of Ghur.

Still, nice to have a proper stampede in the army. And I'll admit, they look better on round bases, rather than a neat regimental block.
