The rest of the wee folk. Too bad they couldn’t paint themselves ....
-
Painted. They would fit in in St John’s Newfoundland 😺

Stucco applied. Nest paint trim, doors, windows etc. Getting close.

Continuing along with the Duardin component. One gray dude avoided being based 12 years ago. He will get his, don’t worry.
Deamonslayer 2006 games day happening.
and the long lost mule train finally arrived.

Great idea for having multiple cities as well. I just had it in my head for one type but that may change.
The army looks fantastic.- 1

Genius idea for the orbs!
Thanks! I progressed a bit last night. 3 in all now.

Amazing. Utterly amazing. Your quality knows no bounds.

Not sure why but this is what happened.
Will have to wait for textured paint for the stucco areas on the walls, then I can finish these up. -
Holy cats that’s great!

GT 4 - strangely enough. The CoS army will be mostly obliterated by turn 5. The orb moved again into waagh territory giving them 4 points this round. And 4 pts next most assuredly. This leaves a tie which will be broken by the number of my units killed. Good job for a first round. I think I’ll target leaders first next time.
not sure about rules when in close combat with a war machine. Do the crew take losses first or last and can they fire at the enemy with there gun. It is still in close range for a +1 to hit. And can units just disengage and run/relocate.
I’m going to say this was in an outlying hamlet away from the main city and was a meeting engagement. Unfortunately the orruks made off with the orb which can be useful when channeling magic (if you can keep up with it). Will half to get serious about putting a stop to this annoyance at the moment. The next army will be a fuller range of units.
My opponent claims victory. He was certainly victorious in losing one of my magic dice when he flew thru the air and landed in the midst of my markers. 😹

GT3 Now it’s getting serious. Green magic finally went off on ST w C. Entire left flank is gone and uncommitted greatswords are surrounded by ardboys. My general is gone, STwC gone.
may least his giant is out of commission. Actually he landed on my general and finished off his final wound. My right flank flagellants are standing strong. Got victory points again CoS have 8, Big Waagh 0.
I have a feeling that’s going to change soon.
Dead pile this round

GT2 - the Orb slides east (depending which way is north) thankfully to the benefit of the Greywater Fastness army. Score 4 VP this turn.
The left hand flagellants charge the double choppas and almost finish them with the aid of the steam tank and commander. The hellblasters work great and blow a big hole in the same orks. Just not enough of them died.
The 2nd steam tank hits the giant hard enough to ruin his charge and the right hand flagellants grab the orb and charge into the chariot.
The ardboys counter charge the first flaggies and paint the ground red with them. Still lose 3 but that’s only fun for em and someone gets to try new armour.
Shivertooth and the boar boys slam into the tank commander and cut him to half strength. Luckily one of his abilities is repair. The arrer boys knock off 2 wounds to my general. The great swords are yet to be committed.
Orc magic ain’t happening.

Did you follow any instructions/tutorials for the build of the table? If so, I'm very interested.
Ha! Very simple. The base is from some sort of scaffold that was built in the basement when we moved in. Just cut off some uprights and it was ready to go although it looks pretty weird. The top is just 1/2 “ mdf painted green and the trim around is outside wood corners. Coots about $25 all round as I had the trim left over from a job.
I also had the lumber store cut it to length and slice it in 2 down the middle to transport. -

Keep up the good work
Thank you very much! A little encouragement goes a heck of along way! 😺

And a few Liberators.

Lord Arcanum added. Still drying.
really not sure about this. -
Test

Just based a lord Relictor and Arcanum and some liberators. Should be interesting how these turn out. I like (luckily) a rough look as that’s all I can seem to muster and I really like this white base. All I need is a bright light to help.

Protagonist- Stormcast
antagonist - Gloomspite 😺
The old night gobbo’s have come out. I used to have 20 spider riders and 4 boss spiders but seem to have lost 1/2 in the move.
2 old squig herd to be converted and 2 units of hoppers to be converted plus some rokguts and an old giant. I rounded up 40 scuttled which I will use as shootas.
The Looncurse box will fill out the bounders another herd and the boss on the giant squig . Plus an old shaman.
These guys should annoy my Stormcast. My missing spiders. 😹

will you put plywood over the insulation too? it makes me nervous just looking at it
Unfortunately it’s a rental so I will not be upgrading the walls. We’re only here for 3 years otherwise I would put in the effort.
I might have to do something with it as it’s pretty bleak 😺- 1

Have to agree with the above👆
Awesome. I was going to leave my grestswords with my old wfb army but now I need to rethink that 😸

Good point! They do look like a production line issue. I think the colours should be muted too. Looks like a street in St John’s Newfoundland 😺
