I've got two kits and am building the other as luminark! Haven't got anything to do with the luminark bits from this kit though...

Just a quick question for you. Which parts did you paint separately and then assemble post-painting?

About to start building one myself and just wondering about the practicalities of getting to all those hard to reach areas.

I assembled the full carriage thing, which was fine for me because I didn't want to paint all the interiors. I also put the wheels on, which in hinsight I shouldn't have! Otherwise the full celestial assembly was seperate- the rings, the mount  and the cage thing in the middle was all separate. If you do want to paint the interiors, just leave all parts separate for painting- they will assemble easy enough if you either scrape paint off the glue contact points or use superglue.
