  1. Even the updates have errors. Look at the Reavers rules. Just use the Warscroll on the website and avoid the app for now.
  2. The Deepkin called and want their artifact back.
  3. The named characters are the best of the bunch. You use bait when fishing, as apposed to using Skeletons with the Bait rule.
  4. I like big blobs of zombies as bait and outflanking vargheists. But I’m all about Manfred as I love his command ability better than the VoZD.
  5. The KO literally use magic guns. In the KO novel they find a supercharged vein of aether gas. Seems like they would fit right in with over powered steampunk magical device shenanigans.
  6. Atmospheric Endrins: “At the beginning of any of your Hero phases, this vessel can descend.” Errata: Change the first sentence to: ‘At the start of your hero phase, any friendly units embarked within this model can disembark.’ Why do people think Begin and Start are different? The words are synonyms so doesn’t this mean that you choose which one to do first?
  7. I’m am perfectly fine with some duardin crafted magic rings and artifacts that work like everyone else’s spells. Heck, how about a aether gas powered flying, heat seeking bomb?
  8. I never played it that way anyway with my Zilfin army, I always used the atmospheric endrins and then disembarked. Since atmospheric endrins still works at the beginning of the hero phase the disembark change has no effect on how I play the army. Clown car from the sky for the win.
  9. Seems like the Grapnel took a stiff hit from the nerf bat. That plus another price increase to the Khemist. What am I missing about KO that makes them overpowered? I’ve been playing them since release and never felt anything was OP, super fun and beautiful aesthetic yes. Needing of more nerfing? I’m hoping the boat reduction makes these changes more sensible then on first glance.
  10. Has the base guide been updated to match the repack bases? For example aren't Archai on 50mm rounds and Nagash on a big round? The guide shows both on ovals.
  11. Two boats completed, three arkanaut companies blocked in and an admiral based. I hoping that with the colors blocked in the arkanauts will start to get quicker to paint (because I hate blocking in colors!). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Forgot to post these Wednesday. Boats are about done. Finishing up second base today. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Wipwednesday. Barak Zilfin. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. I don't think this is last minute at all. Dual/cross game models (e.g. Everything on round basis) is what they were going for. Now you have more bad guys for Silver Tower, more for AoS and you demon army now gets guns. Brilliant.
  15. Maybe broken was the wrong word to use. Today you can take a hero or faction and it changes the battleline requirements. More of that type of modification is what I was talking about using the 40k analogy.
  16. I've been loving AoS since release. The GH was a great addition and certainly has made both pick up games and tournaments far better. Some great thoughts from everyone on the forums. Here are mine. 1. Base to base measurement needs to be official. Too many games have been ruined due to a discussion of zombie dragon wings. Give us the recommended base size for every model on their warscrolls. 2. I think there should be another unit type. Right now we have four: leaders, behemoths, artillery and every thing else, some of which get battleline either as base or in some combo. As the game evolves competitive play will benefit from an additional type that can be restricted for balance. Elite is what I would recommend knowing that the restriction can always be broken with formations. 3. I would like to see a change to unit formation as it relates to heroes. I want a hero to be able to join a unit. Ideally a hero would get protection from shooting and melee while giving the unit a bump. I am not talking about the independent character rule from 40k. Instead having a hero be part of a unit, bought separately but only playable together. I think having the heroes only being able to join a specific unit type would be the best. For example a mounted hero would be part of the cavalry unit only. Heroes on behemoths can be part of a unit at all. Heroes cannot decide to leave, their fanatical guard just won't allow it! This leads into my final point about shooting... 4. Heroes are exceptionally vulnerable to shooting, hence 3. I also want to see a change to shooting into and out of combat. Here are my thoughts. Shooting into combat: if you shoot into combat all engaged units would have to make a battleshock roll using the number of models removed for the roll. This would represent the chance of accidentally hitting your own unit. And could easily become a neat mechanic of elite sniper troops to give their own units a bonus to that battleshock roll. Shooting out of combat: only models out of melee range should be able to shoot.
