  1. Just signed up to this. As Ben has said this is a good deal if you want to use some of the other services (music streaming is tempting), and even if you choose not to, you can cancel before the end of your trial
  2. Ooh Forgotten about that but been distracted by all the cool 40K releases coming up soon!!!!! Yup and hopefully my copy turns up today for me to have a read through when I get back home (probably not as my son is teething and both me and my wife have had very little sleep!)
  3. Pretty much this! Also we have no idea what will be happening with AOS over the next 12-18 months (or 40K), so we may see a big Tzeentch focus but personally I'm hoping for Aelfs and Slaanesh!
  4. ++ Mod Hat On ++ I'm really excited about the Wrath of Magnus but can I ask folks to keep this Age of Sigmar related? Don't mind the occasional drift. Tzaangors are hopefully a crossover kit PS I'm really excited about this release
  5. From what I've seen so far of the Blood Bowl Dwarfs, I think not. I think pictures are somewhere in this thread but they don't match up with what was in the Rumour Engine post. The big thing is the Warzone Fenris pt2 coming out for 40K. It's basically where we see what happens to the Space Wolves and Fenris and get loads of lovely Tzeentchian models for 40K. No idea if it's the big reveal this weekend or next week
  6. Doubt it. This is just a repackaging of current kits with a funky battalion for Christmas. But with how cool GW has been this year, I'm happy to eat those words!
  7. Wasn't the last Khorne set the Deamon one? It was very similar I think we can give GW some slack as the stuff we have seen this year from them is phenomenal! They've show to have been taking risks with the releases we have seen this year, opening up on social media, bringing back the Grand Tournaments and live streaming games from the Warlords event. Then there's all the cool models and stuff they have done. I understand what you are saying but at the end of the day, they have a massive amount of product ranges so need to consolidate those down to a few boxes for that last minute christmas sales rush. I'm hoping they will do some web deals or something as well on the back of this but I'm not holding my breath.
  8. I've heard soon as well Not quite a sale but more of a deal I think when it comes to anything to do with Black Friday, unless you have a stupid saving or discount, people do get disappointed.
  9. It's a horrible site, especially considering it used to be somewhere really good to get rumours and see some of the cool stuff in the US. Even worse if you try viewing it off an iPhone!!! Just need to say this - Do not expect a Black Friday type sale off GW. Sales like this are usually to shift a load of stock before it is out of date or to make space in warehouses. GW stuff doesn't really go out of date in the same way as a lot of other stuff and they are fairly good at stocklevels now. Black Library on the otherhand may have a sale....
  10. Gah. I had to go to that horrible site to check. I think the mega bundles sound about right, but you never know with how GW have been knocking things out this year.
  11. I'm fairly sure it's five wounds of models else I'm stuffed and be joining @Ben Johnson in trying to stop my opponent completing their objective and killing everything! See you tomorrow
  12. Andy Hoare has mentioned they have been thinking about doing Mouse Mat pitches but no idea if that will happen. If it doesn't I'm sure somebody will!
  13. Yes I'm excited about Blood Bowl. Anybody else who is excited, might be interested in this event at Warhammer World in November - http://warhammerworld.games-workshop.com/the-bugmans-full-beard-cup/ I'm also really excited about the new Horus Heresy set and I think there is some cool stuff in it which gives me a nice sized force as I've not done a lot with my Calth marines yet! In fact, pretty much every release GW has done this year I have been excited about!
  14. no idea. If they are only doing these in "small" batches it might be better for them to do metal from a cost point of view. But we are still waiting to see if this is all true
  15. That probably makes sense then as it means that they don't need to cast up stupid amounts of things and have it sitting around in warehouses, waiting for people to buy them.
  16. ++ Mod Hat On ++ ** Cough ** Any Rumours ** Cough ** Just want to try and keep this thread on track as whilst we all love chatting about the hobby, I want to keep this mostly about rumours
  17. I suspect quite a few people will if this is true. I know I may do if true!
  18. You are assuming that everybody plays the same sized games I think for testing the waters and catering for people who play at home on the kitchen table, 4x4 is fine. Hopefully this is a something they will invest more into and we will see some bigger mats
  19. I think it's a bit of a test to see if it's something people want. They have been playing around with the idea for the new Blood Bowl game and were looking at having the pitches made from a similar material (not 100% sure if this will happen but if it does will be as an limited release). I also imagine the thinking behind having it as a 4x4 one as well is that it fits on most people's dining tables or doesn't take up too much floor space
  20. Horus Heresy stuff focused upon the raising of Prospero. I'm sort of hoping for some Tzeentch Daemon stuff but sort of suspect that Silver Tower was that for this year.
  21. 100% agree. Whilst it would have been cool to have another Alliance, it's more straight forwards this way! I don't think they will have one rule set for both systems, mainly because it will cause a massive amount of upset to the core customer base of GW's business. I suspect that they will take a lot of lessons learnt with Age of Sigmar and use that (just like how Age of Sigmar took elements of 40K and refined it - i.e. Formations/Battlaions). I think we will see similar profiles for 40K but I think the core rules will have a lot more to it. The main issue 40K has is that the rules to play the game are all over the place, whilst Age of Sigmar all I need is the Generals Handbook and the Warscrolls and I can play anyway I want (Out of Box/Narrative/Matched Play). These are my thoughts as well, plus you don't need to use the models just for 30K as you can use the armour variants in 40K
  22. Yes looks like it. I'll be giving mine away as I don't play it and don't own a PC. 13th Black Crusade (again! ). I suspect they are using this as the 40K End Times campaign to push the background that bit closer to midnight, so no longer two minutes but probably 30 seconds. Then I think we will see a new edition of the game which will most likely be similar to Age of Sigmar (I think probably profiles). I think if there are any more releases it will be either tied into the 40K Tzeentch release if we see new Daemon models, or some new character releases. I don't think Steamhead Duardin are a wishlist but I'm very interested in what GW come up with as they almost have a blank canvas for them. I wouldn't be surprised if they polarise people when they come out, especially as they no longer need to stick with what we had with the World that Was.
  23. I know it was very strongly hinted at they would revisit the Generals Handbook and add content as well as adjusting things but I think this was a given.
  24. Same here but I have a small mountain of marines to paint up so heading in that direction anyway (and my local group play a lot of 40K). Good spot Batman! Month of Tzeentch would be cool but unfortuanlty I think there will be little Age of Sigmar content bar some model updates. Would be nice to have a Exaulted Flamer model on it's own rather than having to have the Chariot kit.
