    If you're only going to run 20 fusiliers just ally in 20 idoneth reavers. Better mobility, dont need a command trait or hero investments. I dont think fusiliers do enough dmg to consider return fire as a good benefit. Speaking competitively not thematically.

    It's pretty disgusting. I was very keen to start Tomb Kings but won't be at these prices. Will use my dark elves to play Old World instead.

    I'd run her in a recursion castle list. 30 fusiliers. 30 to 40 steelhelms and a freeguild command squad. But I'm with Doko on this GW is having a laugh at that $ price point lol

    I'd say you're right and good pick up. I missed that and I suspect others will have too. Certainly hampered my plans to run 2 when...if they ever came back in stock in my area 🥲

    Couldn't even justify the sorc dragon at 180 haha. I'd rather take 2 foot sorc. It needs a complete warscroll rewrite, pts can't fix that travesty. In other news got to take the dreadlord on dragon out for a spin finally. He has some cool tricks for a fun casual game, especially with the retreat at end of combat, but too fragile for anything too serious. It probably needs the shield to go back to +1 save.

    Which warhammer god did I offend to make them change the black dragons jaws to d3 damage 😢. Is there a worse monster profile in the game? And the shield ability is hilariously bad. At least his lance greatly improved so I'll still run him; it's such a classic model. Likely will sit him in relative safety and give rerolling counter charges to drakespawn.

    The absence of any lore or art or painting or photo guides for dwarves or eleves in the book too. I dont think its possible to be any more certain that a 2nd human wave and ultimate removal of the dwarven and elven side by the next book is coming. Super sad to see but hopefully I'll get at least 18months of play with the dark elves before that time comes.

    Order of activations would be as follows. 1. Opponents normal charges 2. Opponents monstrous rampages 3. Cities counter charges and monstrous rampages, in your preferred order.

    It only just occurred to me that you can do heroic actions even if not on the board. So as a nice combo in Living City you can finest hour the cavalier marshal in reserve and get a +3 charge on your cavaliers off the board edge. Always liked Living City and have a good mix of Sylvaneth but sadly can't see anything worth allying in.

    Really depends on your own situation and hobby. For me not really, unless you're in a rush to get more steelhelms. I don't need 2 books or Marshals and probably wont ever use 40 steelhelms. The vanguard should hopefully be a better mix but thats an unknown and some ways away.

    Yeah, too expensive for a screen, and if you want a teleport unit now you can ally in cheap tree revenants. I love the models and will use them in casual games, but they're no longer priced for competitive play.

    After its attacks now and on a 2+ just seems bonkers. Thats a true hammer.

    The evocators warscroll restricts them from knowing the spell. They can only cast empower and no other.
