Quick rules question. Can the new Deathmaster lob his throwing stars whilst he's hidden in the clanrat/stormvermin unit? And would you be able to Unleash hell it someone charged that unit? Cheers

Just a quick question regarding fur I know stormvermin have black, grey seers white, clan rats brown. But do the eshin and pestilence rats have a specific fur colour?

Is there any stories you would recommend? I'll be honest other than Gotreks side I only read the books that have stuff to do with the armies I'm currently painting/collecting. I did enjoy the stormcast in Dominion though.

I think the only side of Aos story I don't like (other than there isn't enough sources of it) is the stormcast side of it. WHF empire were just so much more interesting to me. Stormcast need something interesting to happen so they aren't just loyal god boys, like some internal conflict or something.

This exactly, I was one of them. I started AOS about 3 years ago and skaven were my first choice but the models just put me off completely. But with 3D printing it doesn't matter now. That being said if GW did update any of the sculpts I'll be 3D printing I'd still buy them, but as it stands I ain't paying the current prices for dog ****** models when I can pay less than half for quality models ripped from my favourite game Total Warhammer.

Yeah true, I play matched though so can't use it do we know why it was moved? Other than Thanquol there isn't a mounted hero on monster so seems weird.

He's creepy as hell! What can he count as in game? Just Thanquol? I noticed the clawlord on broodmother isn't a thing on the app anymore

Annoyingly (I say this as lightly as possible as he's done the others for free) the eshin units are some of the only units he hasn't done I plan on using the Ravenous Hordes prints though. They do have there own unique ratmen look to them however they are covered enough with wraps that's it's not noticeable, so they should fit in.

Gee thanks! Yeah its by a guy known as EmanG he's basically done every single skaven unit from total warhammer 2 and modelled them pretty much perfectly. The files are completely free to use, I luckily have a guy who has a printer in my group, he printed it for me Skaven are my favourite race in the setting but the models put me off, but after finding EmanGs treasure trove I've just jumped right in! Got a unit of 20 total warhammer stormvermin lined up next.

Congrats on the 4-1 that's awesome. What makes the pigs so good? There warscroll seems meh at best. Also still looking for a semi decent 1k list 😛

I have a 1k event coming up soon any good 1k lists floating around? I'm usually a kruleboyz player but I am looking at trying out bonesplitterz and this seems a good place to start.

I think it counts as a spell enhancement, which named characters do get right? Also that with the rogue idol (idiot amount of points though) would be +2

@Sangfroid What list have you been using? Interesting write up, didn't think about the lethal splosion with the bolt Boyz. Also how do you guys deal with the dirty tricks? Do you reveal your choice when you pick or do you keep it a secret until its used.

I played some games last week using a skitterstrand ally. The arachnaroks suck in general but they are damn fine looking models. The rules for them may suck but it still makes your opponent think twice leaving a space in there backline for a spooky spider to crawl out of a realmgate. I found her very helpful for stealing objectives which would have been otherwise impossible for me to grab.
