Thanks @Ben I had a question on voting etiquette. What’s the view on voting for your own entry? I don’t want to be “that guy” and would rather vote for another entry. It feels off to me to vote for my own...... but if everyone else is voting for their own then there’s an immediate disparity. What’s the general view on this?

I agree that would be very cool to have mounted/unmounted versions of both but I think it’s very unlikely. We’ve never seen that level of granularity of choices/options in AoS.

Personally, I completely agree! Interesting thought, I could definitely see the cavalry being dual for the wind aspect. If they are dual, would make the army box an even more interesting prospect.

Was rereading all of the Lowdown articles, noticed something I hadn’t before, So, it indicates that the phoenix is linked with the Tyrionic side of Lumineth. Then pictured is the banner, showing a winged (more griffon-like) creature. I got thinking what if Tyrion is coming as a dual kit with Teclis? The Celennar model with a different head could also serve as a griffin/phoenix! Ridden by Tyrion!?

So, I've been lurking for far too long on this site, thought it was about time I started being a bit more active. In the past have mostly painted 40k stuff, but the last few years my interest in AoS has grown. In the last few months I have been slowly picking up some Idoneth Deepkin, so they will be shown here sometime soon. I've gamed a little over the years, but my main interest has always been the painting side of the hobby. For now, I thought I'd start a thread to show some extra pics of my entry for the TGA painting comp. Thank you TGA for running this comp! Generally I'm a very slow painter, but I turned this model round in quick time thanks to having a deadline. I'm eagerly waiting for this months theme to go up, to see if have any models that will be suitable. Thanks for looking

Many/most of the kits GW produce are dual build. I’m wondering if the hammerers with a head/weapon swap may also build another elemental troop type?

Hi Here’s my entry. Got this free with the WD years ago, went in the back of a drawer. I did consider turning it into a pit slave for Necromunda, but never got round to it. I’m glad I didn’t as he fits the bill perfectly for the theme of this comp. Has it been shown somewhere that she’s holding the coal chalice? I thought the pictures being together was just to illustrate that the wind is blowing the same direction. Looking closer at the veiled lady it looks like she has something behind her (wall or structure of some kind?). I wonder if there will be a diorama style model? Or maybe it’s a war machine?

I’m not sure if you are involved in the editing but I find the CGI clips and voiceover between phases really irritating 😂 Quick Q, what ability allowed Volturnos to regain the spent command points? I’m fairly new to AoS, but couldn’t see anything on his Warscroll or in the tome? Is it some generic artefact/trait from the AoS 2 core book or something? (I haven’t picked that up yet).

I think their attack profile isn't too bad (base 2 attacks at 3+/3+ is the same as Morsarr) , it's the 1" range plus 32mm base size (meaning only 1 rank of attacks) and 5+ save that lets them down. Also, the situational benefit of sweeping blows isn't great.

I think they should at the very least match the stats of Namarti thralls 3+/3+/-1rend (plus Namarti have some tricks) Just wouldn't seem right to me if they were worse than the cast offs of aelf-kind. They're meant to be the pinnacle of Teclis' vision of what an elf should be.
