In regards to Dispossessed, my hope is they keep the 4 current kits (Hammerers/Longbeards, Ironbreakers/Irondrakes, Warden King and Runelord) and expand on these, while also adding like golem creatures as a subfaction (in the same manner as Gloomspite has Troggoths, Moonclan etc)

Not quite. ‘Named characters’ not being able to take command traits or artefacts is a general rule and is not exclusive to matched play. The issue here is that as I believe the Loreseeker is the first non-named hero to be marked as Unique, there’s confusion over weather named and unique are the same but yes in open or narrative you can take as many Loreseekers as you want -

Seraphon don’t ‘inhabit’ the Cities as far as I’m aware, additionally they’re much more independent from the rest of Order so I don’t think it’d make sense from a lore perspective

I don’t really use wizards, I’ve been running 3 Tyrants as my heroes with Gutbusters and I’ve not particularly found any issues. What I meant was that unlike other armies, Ogors aren’t designed around buffing units into deathstars and are mostly independent of each other -
The candles (and possibly the one above it) are 100% Nighthaunt

40K has damage saves/feel no pain that works the same way as they do in AoS. Invulnerable saves just ignore rend/ap -

In regards to the Bastiladon (I believe the only 1+ save unit in the game?), people need to be aware that it’s previous warscroll ignored rend and had a ‘ignore mortal wounds’ ability anyway. Sure, it’s old save was 3+ (4+ for mortals) but the point is that ignoring rend isn’t new for them as for how the saves + rend actually works, it’s not gw fault that no one actually played it properly, people still don’t in regards to rerolls actually -

To add on what I said before, mortal wounds should NEVER trigger from Missile weapons. If that one thing went away I’d be at least a little bit more ok with mortal wounds in general -
I’d argue that if Teclis only casts 1 spell (auto cast on 12, can’t be unbound) then the Spell Eater Curse doesn’t work

I voted no. Im fine with mortal wounds from spells, monster breath attacks and ‘impact hits’ from charging. Every other form of mortal wound needs to go away. AoS 1 mortal wounds were very rare (except for Stormcast), however mortal wounds became a necessary evil to counter the 2+ rerolling save Liberators, and then next thing you know almost everyone has mortal wounds but not everyone has defence against them -
When the book came out and Grimwraths weren’t Leaders, I was toying around with the idea including the Greyfred command ability. I had about 10 Grimwraths in the list 😂 never actually got to play it though and I certainly wasn’t keen to go out and spend $600nz on 10 Grimwraths for it lol

I don’t get it, why do so many people seem to hate Lord Kroak and think he’s undercosted? His warscroll is a massive nerf from the old one in my eyes and no one complained about him then. additionally, what exactly make Seraphon a ‘top tier’ army, and makes some people complain they’re overpowered?

I don’t have the new battletome yet so I haven’t even looked into the new spells (but I will have it for the tournament). I don’t generally think about the battleplans when I’m making lists (and a lot of the time it bites me 😂). Just taking into consideration what I said earlier about struggling to remember everything when I use Vanari, Scinari and Alarith together, what models I currently have, and how much time I have left to buy and paint more, this seemed like the easiest list to complete in the time I have (assuming Stoneguard are available as they keep going in and out of stock on the webstore in my area and the gw only carries 1 box at a time) -

There’s a tournament coming up in about a months time that I’m considering going to just for fun (haven’t been to one in a while, but I used to attend most of our local ones just for fun/get to play more games). Alright so I’ve been playing around with Lumineth for a while now (mostly as Grand Alliance Order as I buy new units to add each week), but I’ve now come to a difficult conclusion. I like the army, and I like all the models (Sentinels are my least favourite but I still like them enough to want a unit of them), but there’s just too much going on with them too many rules to remember. I’ve been playing mostly with Alarith stuff + named heroes, but when I use Vanari units I just can’t remember everything (as is I’m always forgetting Eltharion ignores hit and wound modifiers or Teclis mortal wounds ability if he’s targeted by a spell). the problem is if I only do Alarith stuff then there’s so many cool models I’m missing out on, and I’m really confused what to do honestly -
The only thing I think is wrong with Bladelords is the missing Sunmetal ability despite having Sunmetal weapons. Being Vanari, maybe they should also be wizards as per the other units? But as I’m used to running Stoneguard that isn’t a big deal to me but would be nice to have
