  1. It's probably wrong. There are photos about the new book and Ossiarch remain unchanged in point costs. We don't know if there changes in their rules (petrifex?). Or will they make a faq after the book release? Greetings
  2. That leak is not confirmed and it's probably wrong. That leak has more unit points costs than those on this photo and they are not correct. It states that some Ossiarch Bonereaper Units got a discount and there are a few photos about the GH2020 (french leak) with the same point costs for Ossiarchs, so don't believe in that pic where KO get so many points drops and wait for a few more days. Greetings
  3. Even I think Morteks are too powerful, you can't compare units 1Vs1 because that doesn't work. This is like an onion. Units have warscroll rules, subfaction rules, alligance rules... and they get buff from other units. Daemonetes are expensive because you are paying the invocation, for example. So a comparison unit Vs unit is worthless. Greetings
  4. Endrinriggers were made to repair the ships, but they are also the more efficient unit offensivly: They are more efficient per point (second table) that any other ship and they can attached to other ships. Not so bad for 100 points units. Greetings
  5. Fyreslayers are a hard match. Try using 2 big blocks of Mortek Guards (40+40+10) and 1 or 2 Gothizzars. It's a list prepared to counter (or to try to) another list with 2 extra powerful units of 20 berzerkers each one. Greetings.
  6. I had some problems making the calculator. First of all, I'm bad programming (the code could be improved a lot). The straight average is simple for some easy cases, but when you repeta 1 for hitting, make 1 mortal wound and 1 extra hit at 6 and... it was easier to run the function 10.000 times and the average unsaved damage is quite precise (not 100%, just 99%)🙂 Big problems need easy solutions Greetings
  7. Marcvs is right. Lord Ordinator with the 4 ballistas, 3x5 Liberators (battleline), Gavriel and 2x10 Retributors (lots of Mortal Wounds). I don't remember who was the other hero (Incantor I think). Greetings
  8. Well, Nurgle needs a new battletome. They need new rules in most of their units, not a change in their costs. They lack rending and damage output. They used to be quit hard to kill, but every army had improved its offensive output since they got a new battletome. Greetings
  9. Some Ossiarch lists can be stronger than others. A solid list with 60 Morteks in 2 or three units have a big sustain and a nice attack. People dislikes the -2 rend and the "repeat saves" because it's like hitting your head against a wall. My main army is LoN. I used to bored Slaanesh A LOT. It was almost impossible to win against them because they nearly always fighted 2 times with their Keepers and when my units were almost destroyed, I hadn't enought push to deal enough wound to their units. In this case, OB are pretty solid. They can loose, of course. I lost to an Stormcast list recently because of the map. He landed at 9" with Gavriel and 10 Retributors which charged and destroyed one of my objectives thanks to the 4 ballistas who weakened them. He had another unit of 10 Retributors waiting for landing and get another objective, but I protected them enought. The problem was I couldn't get their objectives and he destroyed 2 of them at battleround 4. I lacked movility in that map, but I'm sure OB can deal pretty well against Stormcast in most cases. What I want to say is Ossiarch Bonereapers aren't invincible, but are above average. Some armies can counter them and another ones can counter them with "special" lists (not good against other armies). Them problem is there are several armies that can't fight against them in most of the cases. I have OB because I like the models (I like every bone/death miniature in this game) but I know they are above average. GWs likes to balance the game using "rock scissors paper" and that frustrates many played because it's army is very good against 5 armies, but very bad against another 5 ones. I don't know how to balance the game, but this is what we have. X beats Y. Y beats Z. Z beats X. Greetings
  10. Like other people said, they problem of AoS is there are some armies which are very powerful against other armies and some people get frustrated playing against them. This happened to me using LoN with no competitive list, but a lot of corpses and resurrecting a lot of miniatures per turn. When my opponents didn't have enought power to kill the entire unit, they got frustrated because they killed 15 miniatures and 10 went back in my turn. Ossiarch Bonereapers have the same problem. They can't be killed if you can't deal mortal wounds or a nice shooting phase. They have hard counters, but I have to admit they are powerful against other armys or list that can't win since the beggining. Greetings
  11. I have updated the calculator today. There are more options to calculate damage. I added today debuffs (repeat 6) and some effects like the mortal wounds of the Bloodthirster at 6, or mortal wounds at 5+ (lumineth), 1 extra impact on 5 (Nadirite swords), 3 mortal wounds on 6 (endrinriggers), etc. If you detect any bug or you miss any option, just post a coment here. Greetings
  12. They are a hard counter because of the strenght and damage of the Berzekers. I can give you some aids, but that's all. Try to kill their heroes with Mortek Crawlers. Gothizzar gives you a nice sustain. Drain Vitality makes they repeat hits and saves when 6. Reinforced Shields can help you with the mortal wound save of 5++. -1 to hit with the nexus. Greetings PD: Drain Vitality is the best counter for them. A unit of 20 Berzerkers deal 41 attacks at 3/3/-/1 and every 6 deals 1 hit and 2MW. They will deal around 14MWs on average (Seven 6 for 41 attacks), so you can cut the damage by 1/6 using Drain Vitality. The average damage of the 41 attacks Vs Mortek Guards saving on 3, repeating all with 6++ save is 13-14 unsaved wounds on average, but if you use Drain Vitality, the output damage goes down to 3-4 wounds on average.
  13. You can't buy more than 1 CP. You can get another one if you get a battalion, but LoNs battalions are quite bad. Zombis are just bad. Play them in a big blob of 60 or just 10 to cover battlelines. Remember Black Knights aren't battleline, so if you put out the zombis, you will need another battleline. Greetings
  14. Yes. It's an alligance bonus to the unit, not a command trait or object that applies only to the hero himself. Greetings
  15. Nowadays Morteks without any doubt. Greetings.
  16. You can't disembark after moving if I'm correct... Greetings
  17. Just a quick question: An objective is controled by the player who has more miniatures in the objective or the player who has the unit with more miniatures in the objective? I watch people using both capture systems, but what's the correct one? The discussion started because GHB2019 says ony 1 unit can capture 1 objective and it was not clear how to capture then. Greetings
  18. It's a difficult question. Bonereapers will have points changes I think, so you should maybe wait for another month for the new GHB. About the list... I'd drop 10 Mortek Guards to get the batalion and change Kavalos for a Mortisan (you need it for the batalion) so you'll have enough points to invest in extra movement or extra rending. Greetings
  19. That table was made by an AI... the same AI that says Arkanaut Company is the best unit in Kharadron Overlords when it's possibly the opposite. Greetings
  20. And then... Mortek Guards + Gothizzar Harvester appeared to block the damage The problem of the GG is its 5+ save and poor movement. They are very nice miniatures, but they are not enough good. Greetings
  21. "Only" against MW... yes, but that's what you need, survive to MWs. You can survive against normal wounds rerolling saves (and 6++). Greetings
  22. He can heal himself 3 wounds if you are playing Ossiarch Bonereapers. He can't heal himself in Legions of Nagash. I played in tabletop simulator versus them. I won thanks to the first double turn, where I could charge him with a unit of 20 Mortek Guards and shoot them with 2 Crawlers. The lists: Seraphon 1x Lord Kroak 1x Saurus Astrolith Beare 1x Skink Starseer 2x Engine of Gods (General) 2x Bastiladon 1x8 Salamander Hunting Pack 3x Skinks Spells: Valewind Vortex Ossiarch Bonereapers 1x Liege-Kavalos (General) 1x Arkhan 1x Mortsian Boneshaper 2x Mortek Crawler 3x20 Mortek Guards Batalion Greetings
  23. Lol. I wanted to say blades are better than spears in 90% cases. If you go with 40 blades and you loose 20 skeletons, you still deal a lot of damage, but if you go with spears, the damage output goes down. That's just my opinion. Greetings
  24. 40 Spears with 2 attacks each one and -1 rend (Petrifex) attacking 3 lines are 61 attacks at 3/4/-1/1 (6 =2 hits) against a 4+ save will deal about 17 unsaved wounds on average. 20 Blades with 2 attacks each one and -1 rend (Petrifex) attacking 2 lines are 41 attacks at 3/4/-2/1 (6 =2 hits) against a 4+ save will deal about 14,25 unsaved wounds on average. I think blades are better 90% time. Greetings
  25. Just a quick question. Can I resurrect a dead unit of Dreadscythe Harridans witch are allied in a Gran Host of Nagash army? Greetings
