  1. Midwest meltdown results are out and I see a couple Slaanesh in the top ten, notably the winner of the event. Anybody knows what these fine gentlemen ran this weekend?
  2. What's the generally considered best loadout for a Keeper of Secrets? I've heard people mentionning the sinistrous hand and the aegis but I tend to lean on the sinistrous hand.
  3. What do you guys think about this list? It is ofc heavily inspired from a recent list I've seen somewhere, with little tweaks. Is Kairos worth its cost? Also I was thinking about maybe trying to fit the purple sun to help vs the fyreslayers matchup, what do you guys think? Cheers! Depraved Drove.PDF
  4. I meant am I missing something special to get the most value out of their kits. The way I see it tho they're pretty straightforward with banners and musicians. Was just wondering! As for the chariots, they will primarily be used for summoning purposes. Is one of them generally seen as superior for summoning or is it more of a depends on the situation thing? Thanks for your answers!
  5. So, I just bought the start collecting slaanesh box, and as I understand it there's multiple options for the chariot. What is the usually better way to build that kit? And am I missing something with the daemonettes and seekers? Thanks!
  6. No the app doesnt have that option afaik. It just lets you pick ungors in the battleline section after you have chosen the depraved drove batallion, but it never deems the list "valid". Must be a bug then if the warscroll builder lets you do so
  7. Hey guys, in a depraved drove, do the ungors count as battleline? In the azyr app they do appear in the battleline section but it keeps saying the lost is invalid because I need battleline units other than allied ones. What's up with that?
  8. What list would that be? Sorry I'm not familiar with the Eurlbad, I'll check it out.
  9. Got a 1k tournament coming up, what do you guys think would be the most potent tzeentch list? Something like a tzaangor shaman, 9 enlightened then cheap chaff?
  10. Exactly this. They can do well on a charge, I mostly use them to take forward objectives and they've been a real pain for my opponent to get rid of.
  11. Got a 24 player tournament coming up this weekend, here's the list! 1 drop lists are so rare now, it can give you a good advantage in certain scenarios, especially the shifting orb one. I gotta say, i've played this list before in another event and managed 3-0, I feel like it has great potential. What do you guys think? Any feedback? Phantasmagoria of Fate(1).pdf
  12. For the ability to massively extend the range on either a bursting spell (LoC) or a horde clearing spell (Gaunt Summoner), and the spell portal does it best.
  13. I might try and get around to that, tho it will take some time haha. First game was basically me completely avoiding one side of the board where his big monsters were setup, and then destroying the other side where he summoned ghould and flayers. Not gonna lie, he made some crucial mistakes like not respecting the double turn, so when he approached with his general later in the game the LoC was able to burst him down. I played well, but the mistakes he made really gave me the game. What I use in my beasts of chaos, and could theoretically also be applied to Tzeentch, is the Wildfyre Taurus. Really usefull to tag that Gristlegore General. As for my list, which obviously does not include this endless spell, I'd say you gotta know your priorities in which spell you want to unbind with the LoC, which are almost guaranteed with the Fate Dice. #1 is Spectral Host (run and charge), #2 is Unholy Vitality (5++ ignore wounds) and a close #3 would be the Arch-Reagent's own spell (d3 attacks). Those I find must be stopped at all cost if we're to have a chance to burst down the big terrorgheists and Zombie Dragons. My loss on game 3 vs FEC basically was me moving my LoC out of range to unbind these spells. He then proceeded to double turn me, which completely opened one of my flanks. At a certain point I even had his general and another one of his big bads at 1 and 3 wounds respectively, but lost the priority roll and he healed up and charged my heroes. Close game, but I made a crucial mistake which dealt me too big of a blow. You are right, that is probably an error on my part when writting the list, my Kairic Acolytes did have 3 glaives! Sorry for the big wall of text!
  14. Hello my fellow Tzeentch players, this weekend Iattended the Tireux d'Dés Grand Clash, in Trois-Rivières, Québec. A 2 day, 6 games event with 40 players, making it one of the largest AoS event in Canada. I'm happy to report that I took 4th overall at the tournament, going 5 wins 1 loss. Pretty happy with how everything went, the list runs quite well and can be quite potent, even vs the new, stronger armies in the meta (looking at u FEC and Skaven :P) Win vs FEC (Gristlegore), Win vs Seraphon, Loss vs FEC (The Feast Day), Win vs Stormcast, Win vs Skaven and Win vs Tzeentch (the only other Tzeentch at the event, and we did not know each other but funily enough ended up using VERY similar lists). I attached my list, let me know what you guys think! Twistfyre.pdf
  15. Sorry if this has been answered before, but what is the generally prefered loadout for Stormfiends? Any general consensus at all?
  16. Thanks Gary! Do you plan on keeping the Thanquol for future lists?
  17. Thanks! Means the Taurus probably is worth more now! Haha
  18. Meaning that applying the "fight last layer" covers completely the "fight first layer" ?
  19. So, it is no surprise that FEC Gristlegore lists are going to be strong contenders now, and the way I see it they will dominate against other melee armies. The fact that their general fights first in the combat phase and then gets to use command points to keep going means that for BoC, which are primarily melee focused also, will get wiped out before doing much. Would I be correct in thinking that the Wildfire Taurus, which makes a unit fight at the end of the combat phase, would counter the FEC command trait which lets the general fight at the begining of the combat phase?
  20. Thanks! All in all I actually ended up casting the cogs only once in all my 3 games, so I figure I won't be using them next time! Finished the day with 3 wins 0 loss, and counting all the points from primary, secondary and tertiary objectives, ended up in 3rd place! I'm proud of myself for this one! List is good, but needs some refining. Would definitely add more bodies to it, prolly ungors or ungor raiders. Games were against Legions of Nagash (with a freakin' Nagash), Wanderers and finally Stormcast.
  21. Going with this list for a tournament tomorrow! Wish me luck Phantasmagoria of Fate.pdf
  22. Hello everyone! I was wondering, what is generally considered a good unit to summon with our points? I know it's always going to be depending on what you need and the situation, but I'm sure with experience there are some that seem to be more optimal? Cheers!
