  1. It sounds good to me. I had the same thought. If endless can hit my units (and most of them are completely corporeal), why my models can't hit back?
  2. I woudn't give a lot of credit to AoS boxes. I still remember that the old Orcs&Goblins had rules, even featured in the second campaign (with fun rules, I miss the option to put set terrain on fire) and a Start Collecting box,. A few months later, they were removed...
  3. What do you think about the rule Drill for a Karak Kadrin army of infamy? Being an army, I suppose they are more trained that basic Slayers that roam the forests and mountains of the Old World. I don't know if it will help but pairing something like Look Snorri, Troll! with marching column, could be a good, I suppose.
  4. The weird thing is that Malakai was not seen around the Goblin Hewer in any of the Dwarf promotion pics... suspicious.
  5. I'm curious about Goblin Hewers. If I'm not wrong, the storm of chaos ones was a special unit (mainly Malakai), but maybe this new one is generic (Total Warhammer aproves this message). I'm still a bit sad that Long Drong's are not returning...
  6. I hope so! Btw, anyone knows anything about the second army of renown and special characters?
  7. If any of my slayers die in a glorious battle, can the impact of the Deathblow be affected by Slayer-type rules?
  8. My take: Assemble a new working team from the Specialist Studio and make Imperial Armoury-like campaigns based on the Mortal Realms. So, a few new kits and awesome books, with a lot of world building, new characters, a bunch of subfactions and maybe even alternative lists. (Note: I don't care about balance).
  9. That's exacty what I said. The problem is not Alliance vs Generic vs Faction battletactics. The problem is how dificult or easy are going to be in an asymetric game.
  10. I don't think it matters. I mean, that happens with generic BT too. The main problem with this system is not where BT comes from. The main problem is when some armies have 2 easy BT and other have 6.
  11. I'm the opposite. I like most of the #NEWAOS articles and I can't wait to learn more about this edition. I'm not a fan of batlle tactics but I will wait until I see more things.
  12. Imho, it's about the impact of this "minor" changes: Who will have the "shoot in combat" USR, what to expect to see with units with 5 shooting profiles, is there any diference between ranged units and artillery, how they interact with terrain rules and I wouldn't mind to see a few warscrolls.
  13. It is weird that we talked about Magic, Commands, Movement, Fighting, Battle Traits & Formations and Battlepacks/Battleplans... but we still don't have any article about the Shooting Phase?
  14. Me too. It's suspicious that ALL dwarf armies are in that list... (another page in the book)
  15. Thanks a lot for the inputs @Sarouan I don't have any ranger, but I already have primed 2 units of 5 irondrakes. Still need a lot of core units (mainly dwarf warriors), king on shieldbearers and at least 2 gyros.
  16. I always assumed that the Lore is after and completely appart from the minis.
  17. I 100% agree. There are a lot of diferent games without SvsT or WSvsWS, and still they have unique and lore-accurate characters. That's another thing that I really want to see. I'm not talking about TOW customization, but at least the option to buy (with points) upgrades for characters.
  18. 100% interested, but I will not be able to travel to UK. Btw, I will be there on the next weekend with some friends.
  19. imho, The system is not the problem. We have USR with a lot of diferent effects. A brawler could have Anti-Infantry (2 hits), exactly doubling his impacts versus infantry units. Give him a 5 attacks on a 2+ hit and he will be really good brawler. Just... don't throw him in front of a cavalry charge or let him fight monsters. He loves to be in the middle of a mosh pit.
