Baron_Bathory
What a fantastic model! I have the 5th edition Azhag and the 6th edition Warboss on Wyvern. I wish I could justify buying this one but there's just too much else to buy that I actually need. Great stats, command ability, and point value too. At the time, most monsters came on 50mm square bases or chariot bases (or the one off- Giant base), and which one it was on largely depended on how the model balanaced more than anything. So Azhag came on a 50mm base probably only because he didn't need a larger base for stability.

If it helps, I ordered Azhag and finally got him last week - he’s the one model I’ve wanted for years and I must say he didn’t disappoint! IMHO, it’s one of the most characterful orc sculpts GW was released (along with Nazgob the Shaman). The only thing I’m not convinced by is the banner but that should be easily replaced and I will put him on a larger circular base as the square he came with just seems tiny!
