  1. How did it go? How did you set up the board/cameras?
  2. I just don't get why they didn't give to small boy Radukar an ability to transform in Chad Radukar. Premise: I don't look for the best competitive force. Looking at cursed city models, trying to make them work, I noticed that Gorslav can bring back even Dire wolves... A 20 strong pack with Wolf Gramma that can come back to life (well, half of it) does not seem so bad.
  3. Please be aware that Vyrkos reroll to cast only affects VAMPIRE WIZARDS
  4. Can I vent my frustration? So, I bought cursed city and was hoping to be able to play with the models. -Bat and rat swarms have no rules -Radukar got a beautiful model that you can't run with the other cursed city stuff, when it could have been handle as Morathi adding a rule to th normal one, stating that when it dies, on a roll of something+ you can transform him. This way it stays fluffy and you can run the beast alone. -Vyrkos dynasty was made for Cursed City and is lore-heavy, HOWEVER the rules do not fit at all with the models inside cursed city and barely work with the other named characters. Furthermore, can they take the traits and relics, since they are named? Only the two non Cursed city models have the rule that makes them general in addition. So they have created a super fluff list that feels botched if I play it "as intended"? -Cursed city gang got a price bump and most things got nerfed (maybe only Torgillius got a power up) Overall I did not care wether the book was super good or not, nor if they force me to play all the Cursed city models, because its the vyrkos lore that they have told us since the first time they showed Cursed City. However, seeing that they obviously made rules that do not fit with those models, I have almost lost interest in building a new army.
  5. I can't avoid thinking that Teclis will do something stupid with magic, erasing the FEC delusion, so that they can go back under the "vampires league"...
  6. Bretonnia stuff. I can't still decide if being rolled into Soulblight could be beneficial for us... Don't really like the idea, but it could be fun.
  7. I will play two big horrors units, 12 and 9 strong FIGHT ME
  8. With the list you have: try to make him charge only the units you want with as many of his units as possible. This means screening with a long line of ghouls. They are going to die anyway. Orks are superfast and killy, so you need to make him pay for killing your units. That’s a basic trade-off rule. Gristlegore can easily do it using the Call to War ability. If he kills you monster, you can attack back (twice if you have the CPs) and make him bleed. As I said, it’s only a matter of better trade off. They are way too fast to be avoided and they usually play many units, so alpha strike is not viable
  9. At 1k you have only 1 battleline, don’t you need two? furthermore, you should tell us what your team is bringing... so you better taylor it
  10. Does he have a shield? No. I am sorry but it’s a silly question you already knew the answer.
  11. Katakros only gives +1 save to his legion, even with prime alive. Don’t try to read the rules as you wish they were, and not as they are... this is is worth an FAQ
  12. Grymwatch are good for unit champions, that’s all. They are tematic, but in no way can do their job (monster hunting)
  13. I used cardboard which got then covered by sand and texture
  14. Yes. note that per FAQ the command trait only works in a turn in which the monster charged
  15. The GK is another buff: you can use his spell together with che AAR one (but in you have two regents, you can’t). with “depends on the list” I meant: what are you lacking/struggling against?
  16. Hello! 1) it really depends what you are looking for, what list you want to play, if you need mobility, survivability or additional damage; 2) Yes, but I think you should think the list around the Royal mordants batallion 3) It depends on the list, but GK on foot is always good
  17. General with Savage Strike attacks out of normal sequence, at the start of the combat phase. You can think of it as a Phase 0, after which you play as usual, so you can choose one of your units to fight with. Doing so, you effectively attack with two units in a row
  18. You can give 2 mount traits, thanks to the battalion. Give Gruesome bite to the TG and razor clawed to the dragon. Make sure to choose a legal trait for the general: you have picked the Gristlegore one. Magic, I suggest Spectral host in the AR, as bonestorm is not very good (not at all).
  19. I think the Locus is too strong, you can roll for every hero you have, for every unit your opponent has within 6” and in both turns. it’s almost worse than the Gristelgheist, ALMOST.
  20. Do we have some more feedback on fec in meeting engagements?
  21. This are said to be fake btw, I read it after posting them. let’s all hope they are not true
  22. Not a very big one, some factions got hit harder (if these are true) Mourngaunt FTW
  23. Rumors AGKonTG +60 AGKoZD +20 AAR +20 Chalice +20 mind, they are NOT confirmed until you see them on the book
  24. Gristlegore is “best” played with 2 mounted kings, magic support and chaff. this is a bit sad, as the court should encourage players to use unridden monsters, but due to abilities effecting also mounted heroes, it’s more efficient to just skip normal TG and ZD imho
