  1. Picture of the new Order Battletome doing the rounds. It's... Nothing beyond that yet, and it's recycled art that could just be a Photoshop.
  2. "Mum can we get the Avatar of Khaine?" "We have the Avatar of Khaine at home." The Avatar of Khaine at home:
  3. The Fyreslayer box is pretty meh for what is an already absurdly expensive army even by GW standards and it's going to sting if the Magmadroth goes back to being £50.
  4. Sounds like a new War Cry edition (although not confirmed), no longer set in the Varanspire but in Ghur and with a new logo.
  5. They'll almost certainly be sold separately. I don't think they've ever bundled a model with a book. Closest was probably when Underworld hardcopies got you a few cards with alternate art.
  6. If we work under the assumption World Eaters are going to be the 40k 10th launch antagonist, they're still over a year away. Cities of Sigmar/Dawnbringers/whatever are probably going to be on a similar schedule if they've been revealed now.
  7. Skaven may exchange a voucher for x1 free drink at the Fyreslayer pub, in commiseration of also receiving only one Hero model for a line that desperately needed new/updated kits.
  8. The Summer 'tome is almost certainly Sylvaneth since they said they're closer than we might think. Autumn's won't be CoS for obvious reasons. That leaves... Kharadron, Lumineth or Lizardmen. None of them are especially old books, all of them have been criticised for NPP. There's been rumours about another Lumineth wave but it's entirely possible those were just meme-posting, plus theirs is the newest Battletome of the three (not that it stopped DoK getting another).
  9. I wouldn't read too much into the macabre statement. 'Skulls, skulls, skulls' has always been a Warhammer staple, even more so than war-hammers. I don't think we'll see anymore of them than we did on the old Empire kits, which is to say they'll be prominent but they won't be mistaken for Death models. What I do find surprising is that from the Skaven Deathmaster trailer, they've actually fallen into a more 'generic fantasy city guard' aesthetic than the Landsknecht-knockoff Empire ever were.
  10. Judging by World Eaters getting a similar, "we're announcing them now and will follow their development" announcement in the 40k reveals I think it's more likely this was always planned and GW are trying something new; testing the waters of having a more open and drawn out process of reveals rather than trying to spring The New Thing and rely on impulse-hype. Maybe it's in response to how leaky their pipes have been recently, or they genuinely wanted to try it after how well the Sisters design previews went down.
  11. Which is a bit of a weird thing to say when their first preview image is... very Empire-esq accessories. Ironically, the Freeguilders shown in the Skaven video have a far more 'generic fantasy city guard' look to them than anything in the Old World range.
  12. They said several times the focus would be very much on humans. That sounds to me like a "brace yourselves, Dispossessed and Wanderers collectors."
  13. 12 Battleplans 6 are 'generic'. 6 are themed to Realm of Beasts, in a different location. Focus on Battleline infantry. Points free online, not a big surprise after 40k announced it.
  14. Definitely sounds like the non-human parts will be getting the chop.
  15. Normal 'Humans' confirmed to be in development. Sounds like they'll be a while.
  16. Nothing unexpected, but nice to see them in HD.
