  1. How necessary are blissbarb archers and seekers? Until a points drop,i want to limit my spending on unnecessary purchases to build a viable list. Slickblades are on the buy list for sure
  2. Is magic-centric Slaanesh worth looking into? Looking at the spells, they seem rather weak and most of the wizards seem like not worth their points
  3. How unfortunate to hear that. Maybe I'll focus on my Hedonites or Disciples if Cabalists really are such a let down
  4. @Agent of Chaos Good point, Soulsnare Shackles would be a pretty good spell to have
  5. So something like this? I also just really like Chaos Warriors
  6. Does anyone have a debt Cabalist list? I've been trying to build one and this is the closest I get to liking a list
  7. What do you guys think of Slaanesh Marauder Horsemen with Javelins? They're cheaper than the Blissbarb Seekers though with lower damage output
  8. I stopped at the list building segment, but most of what they said on WW was pretty spot on. After rereading the book, listening to them, a couple other youtubers, reading forum posts, it's kind of a bummer that almost nothing in the book is appropriately costed. In the WW video, they stated and kept stating that it's a pain to build lists and it is. Don't know if many others of you played WarmaHordes but HoS feels like the new Skornergy, but over pointed lol
  9. That's a pretty great idea. All added in at a solid 1980 points, ayy
  10. With how the Mark of Chaos works with taking models in god specific books, am I able to take the Overlords of Chaos Battalion as an ally choice and give my Varanguard a Circle while the Varanguard don't take up ally points due to the god specific keyword?
  11. With my tax return coming in, I want to build the StD list I've always wanted, an Everchosen list. So at a minimum, Archaon and at least 9 Varanguard. I know that's probably literally trash, but I'm not the most competitive, but I do still like winning. Would adding 40 marauders or some Iron Golems to objective hold/grab be a smart idea?
  12. Thanks for the input, what would you think of something like this as a Godseeker List? Keeper of Secrets (General) -Cameo of the Dark Prince -Speed-chaser Bladebringer on Exalted Chariot 3x1 Seeker Chariots 2x5 Blissbarb Seekers 2x5 Slickblade Seekers Chronomantic Cogs Soulsnare Shackles Fane of Slaanesh Seeker Calvalcade So with Seeker Cavalcade, does the Bladebringer count towards "Seeker Chariots"?
  13. A Couple Questions If running a Godseeker cav army, would Seeker Chariots or Hellstriders with Claw Spears make the better battleline? Are Bladebringers on Chariots worth it or should I bring a KoS? EDIT :: If able, is the Exalted Speed Knights battalion worth its points?
  14. Here's a list I thought of that might not be *too* terrible Godseekers Glutos - General -Battle Rapture Sigvald 2x10 Symbaresh Twinsouls 3x11 Blissbarb Archers Chronomatic Cogs Geminids Soulsnare Shackles Is one wizard enough for three Endless Spells or should Sigvald be broken down into one Shardspeaker and one StD Chaos Sorcerer Lord of Slaanesh?
  15. That's fair. I have a large amount of StD that I'm trying to find use for in this new book. Chaos Knights with Karkadrak Lord in Godseekers seems like a good fit, maybe even Gorebeast Chariots
  16. Question for the Chaos/Slaanesh vets - I know Varanguard are extremely overpriced for what they are, how do you feel they fit the Slaanesh Godseekers theme? What would you arm them with?
  17. So, for funsies and because I'm a casual player playing mostly for looks, here's a list I came up with that I think is extremely exciting Godseekers Glutos Orscollion -Dark Delusions Keeper of Secrets -Progeny of Damnation Sigvald Lord of Pain - General -Speed-Chaser -Girdle of the Realm-racer Myrmidesh x10 Myrmidesh x5 Myrmidesh x5 Supreme Sybarites Chronomatic Cogs Comes out to 1980 and seems extremely funny to me
  18. The slaanesh mortals finally show up and I can hop on the wagon. Question for you veterans, is the KoS good? On paper it seems ok to me, in uses to primarily playing Hallowheart and firing magic, not having awesome giant daemons
  19. Fair points. I Probably will swap over to Hallowheart, as Magic is my favorite thing in Warhammer, although I'm gonna look at Hurricanum alternative models, as I really, really hate that model lol
  20. This is a list I came up with a little bit ago after I found out that Greatswords had points drop, they've always been my favorite unit ever since the days of WHFB. I've always liked the idea of ambushing handgunners. I am considering dropping the extra command point, balewind vortex and some FGGuard to throw in a second General to ambush with the handgunners for the command ability. I also get the feeling with how I built this list, I might be better off in a different city? Thoughts? Also posting this from work, I don't have access to the book for hero items and stuff PepeHands
  21. So I'm updating my list for my DoT Archaon list. The chaos lord on for wasn't doing much, so I dropped it for three endless spells. Daemon rift seems pretty alright with how many wizards and endless spells could be on the field
  22. Thanks for the advice. Would bringing in marauders vs acolytes be more beneficial or are fate points and summoning essential? Bringing marauders would let me take Kairos
  23. Hey all, I'm trying to build a list around Archaon and being relatively new to AoS, I'm not sure how to fully take advantage of the various rules. Allegiance: Tzeentch- Change Coven: Pyrofane CultMortal Realm: UlguLeadersArchaon the Everchosen (800)- General- Lore of Fate: Infusion ArcanumLord of Change (380)Battleline20 x Kairic Acolytes (200)20 x Kairic Acolytes (200)20 x Kairic Acolytes (200)Total: 1780 / 2000Extra Command Points: 0Allies: 0 / 400Wounds: 94 I have 220 points to spare and spells to pick for the LoC. Any advice on how to move forward with a list around Archaon?
