  1. Will have to wait for the costs of the Battalion but it looks great allready!
  2. I think Blood Hunt is one of the hidden gems that is still around in the book. By large because Flesh Hounds are that good and speeding up the whole army is a very effective way to still win, especially for those points. In addition to that Karanak pays for itself so the swarm of Flesh Hounds simply said should do work. There are some additional things there too however, as it was a Nova evenet but not technically fully GW supported. David's army has Flesh Hounds that arn't GW Flesh Hounds for example that are on 40mm bases. This doesn't make the feat less good but it is still a small advantage, at least when we're talking of a minimum of 5 units of Flesh Hounds appearing. Other than that, he played well and opponents likely didn't know what to expect since 3+ Bloodthister lists havn't been played since forever and especially not with this mix of many Flesh Hounds, who wern't Battleline then. In terms of Objective based games, what would you like to know? I mean we have 3 Bloodthirsters with Artefacts, a lot of Battleline units and mad fun. All in all the list is mad fun and while likely not talked about too much Blood Hunt is likely the Battalion that took over Murderhosts role if you want a speedy Khorne army. Flesh Hounds continue to be very well positioned in this Magic heavier edition. Correct, luckily painting and such matters aswell. It seems like a really cool army! Cheers,
  3. And now he can stop face, practically always succeed in his charges and keep you at bay. Fun times at GW. Fun times indeed. Is this how Death felt when GH2017 curbed them into nothingness? Is this how Destruction feels since end of GH2016? You did check all the bonusses you get on top of that? You do understand that currently there is no Artifact that even compairs to the whole slew of bonuses?
  4. Not really. I mean some bias will always be around with Games Workshop. But if it's at the cost of the actual fan-base I'm leaving it as is until better times. Basically first making an article abour Khorne not claiming any skulls is one thing, but then make an article where they almost feel sorry for Chaos is another... It's cool that AoS2 will now first focus on Order and Death. But I don't play those armies, so I will not focus my time on AoS2. There is no real point in it like this. For the life of me I do not know how long this will continue either. If your looking for a superior close combat army! Nurgle is the way, that's all. It's like getting two scoops of ice cream where we can suck on an ice cube Ah well Khorne has been fun under GH2016. I wont forget.
  5. 320 points for the Mammoth in Nurgle is the best. But hey, it's a nice meme edition to be in. Welcome Nurgle, you new Tzeentch now!
  6. Yup You basically have two Allegiance Abilities for the price of none! So yeah, certainly enjoy your new army! As you arn't only a Maggotkin Player but now more a Maggotkin Tamukan Horde Hyper Deluxe player. But Im out. Its fun to see FW and GW have their biases but there is absolutely no reason to not play this with Nurgle and basically skip even what Tzeentch has to offer.
  7. Yes. Its your second Allegiance ability lol. A tradeoff lol. There is nothing that doesnt allow you to thake anything you like.
  8. For those who want to competitively play Chaos, go Nurgle, you get a free Allegiance ability on top of your Allegiance ability. https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/resources/fw_site/fw_pdfs/aos_warscrolls/warhammer-aos-tamurkhans-horde.pdf Have fun, gg. I'm skipping this meme edition untill its sorted out. Cheers,
  9. Maggotkin of Nurgle went full AoS3. Congrats with your Maggotkin of Nurgle Tamurkhan's Horde armies. https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-GB/Tamurkhans-Horde-2018
  10. @Hystarion and @Xasz I read that awnser as Battalions NOT contributing to additional CP, but am I now understanding the awnser wrong? Really the more I look at this edition the less Im beginning to understand what they intended with all of it. What actually happened after they improved the Core rules?
  11. I'm cool with any base as long as it's not some inconsistent approach XD Which it currently is. But hey I guess we went from Skarbrand on a different base to Karnak, Riptooth and the Flesh Hounds on different bases lol.
  12. Well you don't want to go too crazy with them I think but they are nice. There are basically still the same 3 reasons to pick Karanak as mentioned in the older topic. 1. He gives you free Flesh Hounds because you can pick your own Hero as Quarry. 2. He isn't a bad deal in itself for 90 points as he can fight reasonably and Unbind. 3. Flesh Hounds hit hard for a free unit versus hordes and can Unbind also, eve with re-roll if an Daemonic Hero is near (note, Karanak isn't a Daemon Hero). Quite a while a go a great topic was written about Khorne vs Tzeentch where the Khorne player basically took multiple Flesh Hound units to supress the magic domination Tzeentch otherwise came with. To my and even the player's suprise it worked well. Part of the reason as to why is because not all armies need to be awnsered with Bloodletters and Flesh Hounds when under the Bloodsecrator buff do still make 25 attacks for 5 models. Which is neat. I do think that Flesh Hounds are worth the 100 points, so if you find the room, there is nothing wrong with including them. Especially not if it means you can 'skip' on Battalions. As before I feel there isn't that much reason to thake a Battalion anyway, one can be nice, but if you gain a CP for 50 points that's still a good deal also. Especially now when we have the confirmation that Command Abilities usually don't stack when used this way... But somehow do stack when used with BT... (Could be wrong here, typing from memory). Long story short however remains that I think anyone who's willing to have some form of an edge should still include Karanak in their armies for the time being. It's free Look Out Sir unit, it's free Blood Tithe, it's free Unbind options (twice). I just wouldn't try to make it more as support. I personally don't believe MSU is the way to go but I do believe that Khorne for the upcomming semi-competitive meta should look into 2-3 'death stars' and 3-4 smaller units plus the Heroes they might like. Lastly I don't see Khorne going beyond Tier 2 but as before not playing it with the intend to win Tournaments seems to apply to Chaos and Destruction for this edition. Which sounds harsh but is my realistic view on things.
  13. If you put a Khorne Hero on the same base I think we are allowed to replace the Daemon Keyword for Mortal.
  14. Lets make a mail regarding this stuff. I had plans anyway to do it and was basically awaiting this errata. Now that we have it we can ask some concrete questions "again". But this still has me laughing. What the actual?
  15. Oh GW, well I'm playing Chaos this edition so I guess it's time to get used to see two other allegiance get all the focus and new books. Perhaps Destruction and Order will be the prime focus with AoS3, who knows right?
  16. Maby you have your phone setting on blurring out hurtful information.
  17. I have this feeling AoS1 was about Order and Chaos, where AoS2 is about Order and Death.
  18. It's just too late over here for this BS. Talk to you guys tomorrow.
  19. A 32mm base. People seem to have mixed up his base with the Bloodstoker more than once. This is actually not news.
  20. Well I don't think that will make them better than before. It just means that your opponent is more forced to deal with them, but if your whole army is Skullcrushers it doesn't really matter. I think many seem to invalidate shooting a little bit too much. Even the -1 to hit on characters isn't the end of the world for good shooting. But if you're running the Brass Stampede not too much space is left for a massive slew of support characters anyway. One of the reasons why I like Karanak despite lacking the Hero keyword is that I frankly speaking don't care if my opponent will try to focus onto him. I mean worst comes worst it's a lost 90 point model that gave me 5 Flesh Hounds to protect key support heroes. Lastly I do think Brass Stampede is an option. But from most reviews Ive seen and seeing it all in play, it isn't easy to manage and otherwise allround succesful. The big bases are really a thing for those models. It's still good offcourse but rend -1 only still gets you so far. There are offcourse additional Mortal Wounds involved but it's dicey and often not nearly enough to secure/suggest an important kill. This is why Bloodletters have been so essential to our succeses so far.
