  1. From what I've seen (the warhammer community article, I would like to know more) and from my local meta (where I play all my games). I love what I've read, my nighthaunt become cheaper, so that's a win for me, my wanderers become cheaper, so that's a win for me. I can only hope my spiderfang also become cheaper in July, but I'll settle for a nerf of gristlegore
  2. I tend to be able to smash out a army pretty quick, might not be the best painter in the world, but I try my best. So I tend to field 100% painted

  4. And that means what for armies in aos that havnt had range updates? Wanderers and all the older aelf armies can still be made into whatever games workshop wants them to be. I could see lion rangers, swifthawk and wanderers all being rolled into a single army of nomad type aelves and while the ranges look slight off together (mainly glade guard tbh) gloomspite have the same drama with spiderfang and moonclan yet they are all together. And sure, lion rangers and wild wood rangers would step on each others toes, as would shadow warriors and glade guard, but I would say look at nighthaunt and all the samey units in that army

  6. So, I personally have been against a combined sylvaneth and wanderers battletome, but seeing what gloomspite gitz has done for moonclan and spiderfang, I think it could work. Maybe due to the necroquake alarielle has brought the aelves back into the fold, and while mistrust still lingers, more defenders of ghyran is better then fewer. Give wanderers a stag mounted hero, maybe a heavy cav option on smaller wardroth Beatles, change spirit revenants to 3+ to hit and wound and give them a bow option. Slight buff to kurnoth hunters with a 3+ profile for shooting and a avatar of kurnoth (like the eidolons from deepkin). Oak of ages endless spell would be fun (wildwood that al ways roused to wrath, sylvaneth and wanderers ignore the mortal wounds)

  12. Problem with melee is both players can do things in that phase
  13. If nothing else the fact that sisters wound on 3s makes them 'better' then glade guard. Glade guard have thier uses for sure, arcane bodkins is a great ability, they are cheaper in points and battleline. But they are the rank and file of wanderers and sisters are the elite version of archers, sure with less range, but they hit better, wound better and have more shots
  14. Teleporting does not count as moving, it's from the designers commentary from when 2.0 was first released, and I doubt it will change thanks to stormcast deep strike
  15. I dunno if it's a major thing for people but shooting attacks outside of the shooting phase cannot use special abilities, like shooting twice if not moving (sisters)
  16. I really like the direction they took the slaanesh herald, more of that stuff replacing the T&A would be amazing. That and daemonettes that look like they are moving.
  17. I run a unit of glaivewraith stalkers, not because I want to or believe they are hidden gems, but because I'm a single parent and made most of the army out of starter sets. They do get to reroll hits when they charge or are charged, which is okay..... For 60 points to tie up a cannon or something like that they arent bad, but if they fail a charge they are very slow, and if you are using them in this role, they are filling up a spot a better unit could have taken. 4 glaivewraiths or 5 bladeghiests? Sure the bladeghiests are 30 points more, but hit better, get more attacks when they charge and have rend, all the glaivewraiths have is the re roll to hit ability
  18. Oh for sure, I would love realm wanderer to work as it used to, maybe toned down in that the unit counts as moving, although our shooting, while good, never seemed to be on KO (when launched) levels
  19. I would say the book is upper mid tier, but I have only started playing them recently, still a whole lot of fun to play though, so I can't complain to loudly
  20. But how would one change gravesites without making them useless?
  21. Well if you want to do that for two horde armies thats upto you, but I would say look to legions of nagash for a more elite monster mash army
  22. Given that game workshop have taken to facebook to ask about points for the next generals handbook, there is hope for more community driven balance changes in GH19. I personally hope for a change back to realm wanderers, or change it to the beast of chaos ambush rule. Points I can take or leave, but a change to realm wandering would be a massive boon (they can't make it much worse right)
  23. Well on the plus side of mass nighthaunt, all you need is white spray, the oxide technical paint and some baking material, so paint wise it will be less intense then moonclan
