  1. Wow great minis above. I have been trying to get my hobby mojo back. Star Wars Rebellion seems to have ignited it. Progress on the imperials - stormtroopers and tie fighters. Sorry it’s not AoS (yet)
  2. Apologies for non AoS minis. I have been struggling with motivation painting my minis up during lockdown, until I bought Star Wars Rebellion and decided it needed painting. It’s massively motivated me. I started yesterday on the stormtroopers and I got this far. I need to do the black parts of the armour and bases.
  3. I do the same build. It’s a great one on the charge but pray he does not get bogged down in combat. just to note it is 7 damage on the lance, the +1 applies after the gorecleaver effect.
  4. Yes. Entirely optional to pay back and suggests they are in a healthy position. The spectator are the only company I know to be paying it back in the UK. Ikea are doing the same in other countries. It does depend a lot on sector though, I can’t see many restaurant chains having the ability to do so.
  5. Not seen this on here, but it’s a good move from GW and driven by online sales. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/games-workshop-giving-back-its-furlough-cash-6qbhs9rn0 there are plenty of companies struggling and not all sectors can do this move
  6. Well warqueen completed and work in progress on the Gellerpox walkers
  7. Next projects on my list are 1 generic endless spell (the fly swarm one) 3 Gellerpox walkers Idoneth Eidolon Good luck everyone
  8. Glitchlings completed and some progress on skin and hair for the warqueen.
  9. Working on a Khorne warqueen and the glitchlings from Rogue Trader set. The glitchlings are a surprisingly fun little project, lots of character and detail for such tiny dudes
  10. On to the final endless spell. Will finish the set tomorrow 😀
  11. It’s a start on the first endless spell. Still lots to do
  12. I seem to have less time to paint despite being at home. Due to the pull of the kids I guess. if I get the 3 endless spells for slaves done I will be happy. Anything else is a bonus
  13. Great to see all the projects coming together. Keep going TGA! My warriors are done, I’ll be looking to base them all tonight along with a couple of other models in the army. Pics to follow when done
  14. Working on some warriors to Nurgle, using the tutorial posted by Tyler Mengel on the community page (with couple of minor tweaks). Iam Doing 15 of these guys at once so each session has been to do 1 or 2 steps so as you can imagine it’s taken a while and I still have quite a bit to do, but I am in no rush.
  15. I do a similar tactic in a mortal blades of Khorne. The Daemon prince general w blade is very useful for many reasons Khorne prince naturally messes up run and charge, great for the first couple of turns to support board control. He can not be ignored, I have found my opponent will dedicate a lot of resources to stop and take him out. Usually more than his points value. That makes it easier for the rest of the army to have a numerical advantage for a turn or two. If he is ignored, then my opponent will almost certainly lose something important. And then try to take him out. In slaves there is a spell which allows the target to reroll all hits. Casting value is 5 I think (away from books right now) and target does not have to be mortal. This synergises really well w blade as you can fish for the 5+s for the MW. It also gives you a counter to any reroll abilities your opponent has. You do have to be within 12 inch. But a spell like that has a lot of utility for front line troops in addition to the prince. Personally o think sword is better than axe for this as you get to swing the blade more often.
  16. The other decision For the prince is artefacts, if taking blade of judgement then sword is the way to go. The MW of both stack and you have more chances to roll for the blade.
  17. I intend to finish the 15 chaos warriors of nurgle that I started last month - see pic. I hope to prime and paint the 3 endless spells for the slaves army. If by some miracle chaos marauders end up in stock again I will buy and build some (20 or 40) otherwise I will work on some skull reapers.
  18. Welcome to Khorne In answer your your question, skull reapers are great in a mortal list as they bring a lot of MW output. I think most mortal players will be taking 10. Their only weakness is being a bit slow, but otherwise they are solid.
  19. I like it, will be interested to hear how it does. Only a couple of thoughts to consider. keeping the chaos lord on foot in range of everyone to use his double pile in will be hard as most of your slave units are so fast, you may want to consider the cloak that buffs movement on him instead so he can keep up. A blood stoker would be nice to fit in to give the mobile units even more range - marauders get a super long charge with him and help the lord keep up. But I think you need to adjust a lot to slot him in.
  20. Not entirely. You can take some Khorne-marked slave units, buff them up and then teleport them over. For example teleport over a daemon prince for a turn 1 alpha strike with torc and have him mess up the weedy heros, he has to be dealt with, while the rest of the army charges up. Or send over a unit of chaos marauders with brass skin and shields and run them into the shooty unit. Sadly Sayl is no longer sold by forge world, but he could be proxied as the scroll / points still valid I think.
  21. He can only teleport slaves now 😟 if you want some to get across the board then do consider chaos marauders, they can do some crazy long charges now with the various buffs. Min 11 inch charge with a drummer and blood stoker, and I think can go even further with other buffs. i would be wary of a sorceror as our innate antimagic will make it harder to get spells off and the Mage will also take up a leader slot. Not to say don’t do it, just be wary of the impliications
