Love the GUO did you follow the Warhammer TV tut?
It's a pretty fast model to paint, I really like the extra detailing on the guts.
Thanks! I deviated a bit - I used Camoshade for the skin, and after the elysian green drybrush, I did an Ogryn Camo and Nurgling green, drybrush then painted a fine highlight of nurgling green followed by ushabti bone, before glazing the whole thing in waywatcher green and doing a final highlight of nurgling green on top of that. I think the glaze added a lot to the skin tone, it's quite vivid without being toxic.

Further adventures into glazing my Nurgle folk to full the greens up for the heroes has resulted in the Spoilpox Scrivner being quite luminous

Thanks @Soulsmith and @Callidan! It survived a trip to my local store for a battle and a few people were pleasantly surprised by him

@elfhead Thanks!

Given Slaanesh/the Dark Aelves relationship, and the posibility of a Morathi Snake mini... I have to wonder if we'll get a Morathi/Fulgrim dual build kit? Seems unlikely but it would be interesting!

Cheers @Mirage8112! I took a break from TGA to paint up my Death Guard forces late last year, and I think they were a real turning point in terms of patience and quality. You can get a lot done in a year it seems, but I do think I've hit a plateau right now!

Great work all around but I especially love the sword on the giant!

Oh jeez, it's been a whole year (since I started painting, but not since the start of the PLOG) but no one can escape the pull of entropy, and I am back to AoS Nurgle thanks to the Maggotkin. Here's my Great Unclean One, which I just finished. What a great model to paint!

@Charles Cheers! it was really worth the effort, even if it is a little wonky! I didn't bother with Rotigus stuff, i'd want to paint him differently too.
@Soulsmith Cheers, I did the same to my Dark Imperium sorcerer, and have attempted it a few times since but it doesn't always work.
I basically paint Rakarth then Flayed one flesh, then shade all over with Reikland. Then starting at the top I paint bands of Druchii Violet, Carroburg Crimson, Reikland Flesh Shade, Seraphim Sepia and Athonian Camo Shade, trying to mix a little at each line, then I go back over the top 2 with thinned carroburg, the middle two with thinned Reikland, and the bottom two with thinned Athonian. I glazed the green with waywacher this time, then painted highlights of Kislev Flesh and Pallid Wych Flesh, before covering it in 'ardocat!

Lovely seeing all the projects going on in here. I know it isn't Wednesday, but here's a WIP of my GUO
Currently done the Face and the Guts
Waiting on some Ogryn Camo to carry on

Nice work on the Nurgle there @Turragor!
Always nice to see different colours. I still like the green myself, but I got a lot of people calling my Death Guard "too clean" when I didn't go for a drecnhed in agrax look myself. I try to apply the same idea to my AoS Nurgle as well, but I do actually like green so there's a fair bit of it in there

Yeah, bloody hell I was happy with mine but than @donburg showed up and I think I need to reconsider...
-
Cheers @Turragor, I decided Shadespire was a good place to try out some schemes i'd not seen elsewhere, given how cheap the warbands are it's a lot of models to experiment on!

Just found this thread and all the great shots in here, really excellent work. Thought i'd share my own too.

Saw this on Facebook, lovely stuff!

Nicely done! I haven't actually painted any of my Nurgling bases yet, I tried some out using primarily washes last year and decided I wasn't too happy with the end result. I like the luminous green of these, so I may go back and try something similar!

Back to Nurgle as I finish off Blightwar. I couldn't be bothered to paint my new Plaguebearers the same as my old, as I now have many more paints than I did around 10 months ago. I Progress has pleased me though, as I am happier with my WIP mini than I am with my old completed guy!

Adding to the theme:
I regret base coating this guy in white as there were some recesses I just couldn't hit and I think they look silly now.

It's wednesday, here's a WIP!
Well now, I dunno why they have rotated!
-
Great idea well executed. Glad to see people are still doing cool stuff with Kharadrons!

Rise from my gwabe and all that.
Did that Shadesire Stormcast gang like my Heraldor up there. I Think they're pretty neat models, l especially love the bases!

I feel like I heard £20 for a warband, like Blood Bowl teams? Which seems fine given they're gonna be 3+ models with cards and tokens etc. £15 or £18 would be the sweetspot, but I think they'll be more.
I would also love it if they did things like warbands that preview the new direction for the armies.

Progress with some more non-40k Nurgle

I decided to strip the Lord of Plagues that I painted around a year ago, and redo him today. Took a long time (8-9 hours?) and it isn't perfect, but it's fun being able to put the photos side by side and see the difference!
