  1. Was it ever determined if the Mistweaver from Silver Tower is connected to the Deepkin?
  2. @TheHarrower, Looks amazing! Do you plan on redoing an entire doc like this?
  3. Hmmmm....I'm a grown man who enjoys painting and playing pretend with little knights, aelves, and orruks. In that light, it's hard to imagine being upset because some 8-12 year olds will get some fiction to read. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  4. I like them. The roses are a nice touch. Where'd you get the image from?
  5. This weekend's accomplishment. No shading or highlighting on the black. I've not been able to do black highlights in the past without the models looking grey or dark blue. I'll probably leave as is.
  6. I don't play KO or ID, but can't wait to see tables with these battles. sky ships v sea creatures duardin v aelves
  7. Shadespire warbands are great for serving double duty in games of Skirmish. I mean, the two Stormcast warbands give you a Skirmish force of 6...or throw in the Fyreslayers for a combined Order Skirmish group of 10. As Shadespire progresses with releases, we're receiving more and more Skirmish options. This is an amazing deal. Buy Shadespire to play shadespire...purchase that ~$10 Skirmish book...and now you're also playing AoS with shadespire only purchases.
  8. Hmmm....I'm guessing this army works in the same way an army of skeletons does. How do they move? Spell cast on them/their area allowing them to operate when normally they would be dead still. This usually takes a strong spellcaster...a Necromancer. Similar thing with Deepkin. A spell cast in the area allowing the creatures to operate where normally they'd flop around. Maybe this spell is even cast by...a Mistweaver. Seems if we can accept reanimated corpses...it's not too much of a stretch to accept flying fish...
  9. I had the same question...how could this work? Then a friend made it all clear...giant crustaceans (lobsters, crabs, etc.), snakes, and serpents. They'd be water creatures that can also walk/crawl about and battle on land.
  10. Wasn't there some recent presentation with a 'Battletome Fishmen' on some slide...but it was all a joke? I don't think my memory is failling here, but I can't find that image anymore.
  11. Historically, I have not been a fan of these models...this paint job has made me a believer!
  12. So, the noble Flesh Eater Courts should not be in the Legions of Nagash, correct? I hope not. Part of their appeal for me is their rogue-like nature within the Death grand alliance.
  13. I thought I saw glimpses of the Chosen Axes models in one of the promo videos for Shadespire some time back. It also had the skaven in it. I can't find this video now...have I lost my mind?
  14. I guess I posted my pic in the wrong place back in November. I put it in the 'Customize Shadespire' thread, but really it seems they belong in the 'Painted' thread.
  15. Don't happen to recall the price do you? ....and how often do you go?
  16. I live in the US...not like I can swing by and pick either up.
  17. That book would be great to have. Does Warhammer World also still sell that Rogue Trader reprint or was it limited release?
  18. I'm referring to myself and my main AoS opponent.
  19. I know. but with full masks we can 'pretend' they're that way on our tables.
  20. I don't mind it being stormcast, but this model only works for us if he comes with a helmeted option. I know bare faced models is something fans want to provide 'humanity' to the Stormcast, but we much prefer the idea of them being almost etheral/spiritual beings in the armour. It gives the reforging a bit more of a mystifying feel as opposed to just flesh and blood reincarnation. Plus, in the past year I have come around to the epic, he-man style AoS aethetic in a big way...not too plussed to see a turn back to holy roman empire flavored models. Let's move on.
  21. I'm a few days late here (holiday), but that music video is incredible. Makes me smile on every watch. Not that I'm a nurgle player (yet), but it shows GW having a lot of fun these days. Love it. That hand in the background reaching for pastries....great touch! Lol!
