  1. Wanted to pop in and say "YES!" to someone running a Slaanesh list.

Have you used Seekers yet? I don't have their points to hand, but their speed output is ludicrous. Borderline auto-first turn charge. And great for objective grabbing.

Having played against warriors a few times, their save and 2 wounds a piece do make them a tarpit unit. It's easy to forget that at 2 wounds they're basically double the size of what they appear for that purpose.

Beautiful looking games, and really for me shows the kinds of armies and tables that we should as a community hold up as being 'how the game should be played'. A battlefield that looks like a real place being fought over, armies with monsters, characters, beasts of all forms, and lots of brutal combat.

    Thanks.

When we put terrain down we try and make it look coherent. The terrain itself is varied so we use that scattered grass material to blend parts together.

Looks like you had lots of fun! Did the giant squig cause much damage? I can also confirm how great Gamemat.eu gamemats are, couldn't recommend them enough.

A lot of fun, it not hit and miss.

We use the SCGT system (guys I play with like point). On the first game I was able to make a first turn charge (4D6 move + 2D6 charge) straight into Manfred (aka Big Fred). He munched half of his wounds. Battle went on for another turn but eventually Big Fred won. Whilst only a couple of pools between them, Big Fred is way more powerful.

On the second game I used him definitely. Deployed behind a house as he was staring through the window at some cheese (possibly brie, probably halloumi). He then worked as a counter-charge unit. During this skirmish he ate a wounded Big Fred, got confused and chewed on a building (mystical), finished off that Hex flying wagon thingy, used ghost calvary as toothpicks and then bared down upon a cowering necromancer.

In the third game everyone teamed-up on him so his damage output was greatly reduced before he did anything (only a 5+ save and no regeneration).
