  1. The acolytes are quite out of place. Clan rats on their own are quite weak, so having a warlord would help buff them. perhaps -grinder -acolytes and go with a warlord and CP instead? You could also swap the warpseer for a different verminlord or more clan rats. I think the warpseer is only worth it if you have CP spam his CA. A corrupter is good for its points as well.
  2. I think it would be nice to see Eshin as its own thing, but judging from the shadespire release they are likely working on verminus models right now. The warband seemed too detailed to just be a single release to me. A lot of the poses could be easily used in Eshin though. That said, a boxed gutter runner release could fix lots of issues, they are really strong. Surprisingly strong in fact. I want dynamic awesome ninja rats! Make it a thing GW! XD
  3. There is a lot of nonsense being leaked as well. Its quite tiresome to be honest.
  4. I think there is at least a 2 months gap between releases, even if 2 factions get released at the same time I guess it'll be at least 4 months before anything Skaven is probable. Personally I am kind of wondering what is taking so long for them and destruction to get an update. It has already been 2 years or so when the first details got leaked that GW was working on some new Skryre toys as well as some pestilens. We've had several smaller Skaven releases, bloodbowl and Shadespire, so it shows they are actively working on them (or I would assume they wouldn't waste time to make those kits), yet we see nothing coming along. It is almost as if they know Skaven is super popular and saving the release in case the company is having a bad financial year.
  5. It'll be a very long wait it seems. We are likely to see 2 more Stormcast battletomes before that comes along XD.
  6. It depends, they could make it similar to legions of nagash where you have different subfactions with their own rulesets. One of them can be an alliance between Darkoath and beastmen, while others can be pure Darkoath or pure Beastmen.
  7. So since we are back to rumours. That sure was a big bull faced grot reveal.
  8. That model is quite rare nowadays. You may be able to sell it for a decent price if that's your thing.
  9. I did not mean that type of balance where everybody has everything, it'll just become boring if so. I meant it more as a rock/paper/scissors, except there are like 15 other elements which beat 2 out of 3 in various fashions. A game in which each army has strong matchups and weak matchups, as well as each army having different playstyles which can counter certain armies, but totally fail against others. Similar to magic the gathering has various types of decks which can be very weak against certain type of decks, but shine against others and at the same time having a large variety of objectives in which even weaker armies can shine if played properly.
  10. Its a remake of the LOTR strategy game of 15 years ago as far as I was told. You can probably find out lots of info looking for that.
  11. The support thing is surely something that could be fixed through digital updates. I think even stuff like the warhammer legends stuff would be better focused on putting out tournament legal compendiums for armies and giving them some battalions and allegiance abilities to work with. Also, there will always be a top 3 list that looks very similar time and time again. Some armies are just statistically more likely to win, sadly. GW's main focus doesn't seem to be towards balance either. From what I've heard, only a small portion of the people that buy their products actually play the game, and an even smaller portion plays competitively. So, lets say if 5% of all their buyers are competitive players, its still a very small group and likely not their main target group they would want to cater to the most. We are a minority in this sadly. I do think however, it would be better if they stopped changing the rules so much and balanced the game as-is. Each time battalions or warscrolls get removed its 1 step forward and 3 steps back in my opinion.
  12. I think they went with a less = more approach and riding the wave of hype by just showing the bull, hoping people will get crazy about a new faction release like they did with Idoneth Deepkin and such. Instead the hype kind of fell flat on its face and from what I can tell, people aren't waiting for ANOTHER new faction, but would rather have their existing armies updated. I think that bull would be far more appreciated if they had shown it with some other simple product like: Coming this Orktober! Battletome: Greenskins or Battletome: Destruction. One book reveal would have made lots of people happy I think, even if there are no new models involved.
  13. I can't blame LLV, all the info pointed towards a Grot/moonclan reveal. Perhaps there has been some last minute changes to the plan? Who knows. There may still be a surprise reveal though.
  14. I think the bull is most likely going to be for brayherds. We herd a lot of rumours after all
  15. Any think there are going to be some more reveals? Or was that it?
  16. Don't get your hopes up. There was a supposed skaven release as well right after AOS2, but the rumour engine does not point towards it at all as far I can tell. I think releases get pushed further frequently.
  17. I think the mistake they made was mixed sprues. I am certain we would have it as a start collecting or something simiilar otherwise.
  18. Thats quite interresting. Twisted dragon elves sounds brutal. I hope they will have misformed dragon faces if so!
  19. About those shadow elves.. Does anyone know what to expect? Assassin-like "shadow" or the magical kind of "shadow" stuff?
  20. A box set of 10 or so of new gutter runners, acolytes and plague monks is all we need i think. I wouldnt even mind if it were all on the same sprues. A full gutter runner army would be extremely deadly.
  21. Really is an amazing army! Looks absolutely stunning.
  22. This had my heart jump when I saw it in the email and straight away went "oh.." Anyone else had a mini heart attack? XD
  23. I would love to hear how the throwers perform in the list! Remnants of the clawpack I assume? Skaven are in a weird place. Fully buffed clanrats can do like 14 damage per 100 points, but thats buffed, unbuffed most units hang around 2 or 3 damage instead. With things like Sequitors unbuffed (other than self buffs) dealing 5 damage/100p and skaven hanging around mostly 2.5/100 stuff, its harsh competition. Genestealer cults just got some love though, so perhaps GW is finally giving some attention to our sneaky boys soon as well. Perhaps for gender neutrality we will finally get some broodmothers. That would be a true horror to behold I would imagine.
  24. Really awesome! I had the nurgle miniature on the horse in mind, I forgot his name. Thank you for the info! ?
