  1. Hey Everyone! I wanted to share my kitbash for my homebrew project completely done (until i find some touch ups!), and wanted to share a short blurb of homebrew for him I hope you enjoy both as much as I have had building & painting him. I have two more waiting for their greenstuff treatment but first im going to flesh out this main hero of my homebrew C&C welcome! Parvat’Shakti, Honored High Warchief of Haset “As the large Hathorian charged towards them, the Gors and Bullgors did not know how to react. At first, they thought him one of their own, for the form was that of their own, or seemed to be. Instead of patches of fur, he was covered in long thick fur that even covered part of his face, or was it a mask? They could not tell from the distance they stood, it was not until they realized that his weapon radiated with pure light and that his armor bore both Lumineth and strange symbols that he was not one of their own. With a horrendous war call, the raiding party begins their own charge at the yak-like minotaur in front of them. Before combat was met, man-sized bolts whistled down from the sky skewering a few gor and a bullgors where they stood. With a thunderous war cry of his own Parvat’Shakti, Honored High Warchief of Haset crashed into the gors as an avalanche crashes into a building. Swinging his mace, its pure piercing light energy cauterizing and melting armor that it struck. The remaining Bullgors rushed the Hathorian, almost as large as he and more in number, seeking the blood and flesh of their assailant. Parvat’Shakti raised his shield to the first one, its green crystals pulsing outwards with his own push, sending the first bullgor flying back several meters, crashing into a highland boulder. Swinging his crude axe, the second Bullgor is parried by the Honored High Warchief’s own weapon. As the bullgor raised his axe to strike the sense of pain raised through his back, and then his chest; a beam of light soon shown where the bullgors chest cavity once was. The lifeless body fell before Parvat’Shakti, blood is shown on his war mask, he again wades into the remaining beasts, none are spared.” - First Encounter of Beast of Chaos and Hathorians, outside of Iakhu, Capital of the Hathorian Nations Parvat’Shakti, meaning “Mountain Strength” or “The Mountain’s Strength” is the personal Honored High Warchief of Haset, and the first Male Hathorian to be made by the Goddess. Created for war, Haset imbued in him all of her own combat prowess and knowledge, he is war made manifest. Since before the Age of Myth, Parvat’Shakti has commanded over the Avatar’s armies, or Folds, and has crushed many in her name. Over the ages many High Warchiefs have challenged the ancient Honored High Warchief for his position, and to be Haset’s personal High Warchief; they soon realize their folly. Though all-male Hathorians are bred for war, none can match Parvat’Shatki’s strength or tactical intelligence, they are soon overpowered and sent back to their own folds. Pivotal to the battle of Tor Yriquel, Parvat’Shakti lead the charge of the Hathorian Elite Guard, The Mountain Guardians, to repel the Slaanesh war host that had been carving a path of death through Ilithia during the Spirefall. The Hathorian fold caught the Slaaneshi forces off guard, being able to hold them long enough for the remaining Ilithian forces to regroup and join back into the battle. The ferocity that the Hathorians fought with inspired the aelves, but it was Parvat’Shakti’s own martial prowess that inspired them even more. Cutting down even the largest of Slaangor, the High Warchief seemed unstoppable, it was only until a Keeper of Secrets emerged that the tide began to shift again. If it was not for the Warchief's own tactical foresight the battle would have been lost. His own forces holding back the Keeper of Secrets and elite center, allowing the Ilithian infantry to flank the weaker sides of the piercer formation of the Slaaneshi force. Enough time was bought for Haset herself to engage the greater daemon of Slaanesh, soon the village was won and the Hathorians disappeared again, like the myths of old and the new rumors circulating that are told. It would not be for another passing of Ulgu that the Hathorians and Ilithians of the region would become military allies.

  3. Here is a update from my working on him yesterday I think I have the fur down at this point, I may do one more light wash, but i like the color differences in the different spots but that are still similar enough to not be out of place. I also got a good amount of work done on his shoulder armor. I was trying to think what colors represented the Hathorians so this is what I came up with: The Blues represent the sky and clouds (Zenith for Lumineth), the yellow represents light (Haset) while the birch white represents the ground and live below the higher planes. I really like symbolism or meaning behind my models, so it was important for me to find the reasons for the colors before really committing to them. More to come including the first Warscroll for the Hathorian race
  4. Thank you! Me too! Haha! That'll hopefully be done in a few months / end of the year. I still need to figure out abilities, units, etc. Lots of work ahead of me! Thanks for the support 😊
  5. Hey everyone! It has been a big day! I was able to prime and start painting my first Hathorian! I am super proud of the outcome of this kitbash, and I only hope the rest turn out as well or better. The greenstuff work is far from perfect, but I'm super proud of the fur I was able to sculpt, and I definitely look forward to the next! As this is my first Hathorian, and officially my Eltherion stand in, this will either be an Honored Warchief or a regular Warchief on foot and will be named. I am still debating on a name, but hoping to have one and some homebrew for him The color scheme for the fur is influenced heavily by Highland Cows (or Coo's?), I love red-browns and it was already the color palette I was thinking. My original plan for the armor was to follow suit with my Wardens, however the orange makes it a bit too monotone, so I am instead going with a blue-grey; like Haset’s skin. Still debating on the shield color... Still WIP and still working on the fur Would love any thoughts or C&C!

  7. Finished with the fur on my first Hathorian I think it looks pretty good! Now to decide if any random bits need to be attached before priming may do a tuft of hair hanging down the top of the face still like in the picture of the yak/highland cow VID_33821027_065024_084.mp4
  8. Thanks! Yeah, I really like 2+ tough but definitely looking for a more indepth look, he seems to mainly do detailed overviews instead of plunges
  9. So much lore I still need to delve into, aka podcasts. Any good ones? Yall are some Loremasters
  10. Looks awesome when dried, I think! I still need to finish him up, but I kept messing up sections last night by accidentally pressing on spots, so just let it dry overnight. I am really getting the windy, long, thick fur I was going for, that mountain/highland feel. Going to finish up tue rest of his body today, really excited. For the next two Im going to try using tweezers, it was suggested to me via a discord discussion, so we'll see how that turns out also
  11. Working on some #greenstuff fur work. This is a kitbash for my homebrew faction project, my Hyshian non-chaos aligned Minotaur race the Hathorians. From the mountains and Highlands of Hysh, I'm looking to give them a long hair/fur look, sort of like yaks. Should look ok when finished I think Set up a blog here also that goes into their homebrew lore if anyone is interested in checking it out VID_45250618_130138_818.mp4

  13. The more I look, the more I see this, and the more I love it
  14. Hoping to finish my Stoneguard before the end of the month, 2 different schemes corresponding with which Mountain Spirit they pledged to (also, green theme has mallets. While the red/yellow has picks)
  15. So, definitely getting the wind temple stuff, this however ( to me) doesn't feel like an Aelemental with a rider My guess is, given by the shield and neck of the creature, possibly some sort of wind dragon mount? Looks to have scales on the belly bit... fur of sorts up top? Maybe even an Ur-Phoenix? We shall see Edit: Maybe even a new Vanari Heavier Cav (flying unit?) Which honestly would be amazing
  16. Thank you! Ever since GW released the Bull Themed Aelementals for the Lumineth I've been busy brainstorming and putting ideas to paper, eventually bringing them more to life (as seen here). Definitely putting a lot of thought, research, etc into em, want them to fit as naturally as possible into AOS. Yeah, Hooks like that are nice for sure, and admittedly I'm probably going more into detail than is needed with their society etc lol but definitely part of the fun for me. Real glad you're enjoying what I have so far in ways of conversions, lore, etc. More definitely coming in 2021 when I can, hoping to do a few more kitbashes for them
  17. I apologize, didnt realize that was the protocol. I was just reading threads on chaos dwarfs (with no specific questions in mind) just gathering knowledge for homebrew stuff. Figured the info in this thread was useful, seems like a waste to just throw it away, but for sure. Also wasn't looking to start a whole new thread on chaos dwarfs, simply add to the (admittedly) very old conversation as I passed through
  18. Just found this thread, Id like to add that in my own Fluff there are Chaos Dwarves in Ulgu and have occupied a sub realm between Ulgu and Hysh. There's more to it, and Im still fleshing it out, but yeah! I am focusing more on the "Father of Darkness" aspect of Hashut than the fire part
  19. Updated this section for easier access to notes I make about the homebrew, including Hathorian language translations. This, as with the other sections, will continue to grow as I write more
  20. New Soulbound stuff is very much a highlight for me as well i just got my book, so i'm excited to read it as a non pdf haha! I think i'm gonna try to knock out some Stoneguard in january, finishing what I have is also a goal... but with so many projects in my head... its hard to not just...buy....more...😄 Man, I've been loving the broken realm stories, but I have to agree! where are the plots for the lumineth? Come on GW! lol I'm hoping if they do give us a new temple that it will be Wind or River, personally think it'll be Wind though (and hoping that first honestly) Happy New Circle of Celennar to you also! hoping 2021 is as bright as the Tyrionic Sun!
  21. I think what I am hoping for the most are true animal behemoths, such as a Ur-Phoenix, some sort of light Dragon (personally, I'd love a feathered dragon), and something as a monsterous infantry unit that I could use my Homebrew Hathorian Kitbashes (Hyshian Minotaurs, Highlighted here, still wip: ) for as stand ins for official games. Swordmasters are going to be awesome, I'm also looking forward to more novels and definitely the Sun Side of Hysh. On a personal note, I'm excited (eventually) to start my Teclis Kitbash/Conversion Annnd for many reasons, for the pandemic to be gone (or at least a much better place than now). Here is to hoping 2021 will eventually be better than 2020
