People not outraged by this are missing the point (in my humble opinion). This is not about the FAQ, this is about the communication surrounding the FAQ. And they failed hard in this regard. Ask yourself why a bare bones FAQ was delayed from the usual mid December release? They knew they didn't have the data long before this, and could easily have communicated this to us well in advance. Instead we got a lie thrown right in our faces which @Heijoshin breaks down pretty well.. It is mindblowingly bad communication by the "community team" no less. And we have every reason to point this out. They can't improve if they don't know that stuff like this isn't a good thing. I want them to do better, I like their game.....

Couldn't care less about the FAQ (I collect Slaanesh, so 😋).. What really bothers me though, is the total failure of communication by the "community team". This is a 1 month delayed FAQ which.. I could give about 1/2 a fu** if they had come out on time, in December, telling us they weren't going to make any meaningful changes because of lack of data. Now it just hurts my view on the company greatly, that they think this is in any way acceptable community management. Didn't have high hopes, but I'm still disappointed.. (sorry for being a negative Nancy, but in my opinion GW, and the community team, deserves every negative word coming their way after today) "Fun" fact, the Azyr app is still lacking the artifacts from the GHB2020 😑

There wasn't any announcement last year either It did fall on the 17th the last two years, so before we have crossed that day I'm still very confident that we get a winter FAQ update

Thing is, I'm not moving, I'm deploying within 6" of the table edge. Also, I was asking for a source or maybe for an FAQ, not for an answer. Thanks for it anyways though, I'll keep looking 🙂

Hi I'm pretty sure I read a FAQ somewhere on this subject, but now I can't seem to find it.. If I ambush 6" from the table edge, can I capture an objective which is 12" from the table edge? To my knowledge, a single model can "make the distance" 🙂

I have heard this before, but would actually rate it a few % better than a +1 because of how they stack (ex. hitting on 2+ you can add 6s doing 2 hits for a little more awesomeness. It is also possible to do more hits than you have attacks, though unlikely) 🙂 On another note, do we have any news on Hedonites of Slaanesh point changes in the GHB2020?

First thing that sprung into my eyes reading the article was the fact they tell us the box gives you a "nifty 1000 points" I cannot get that to add up to the WD point values we got a whole back 🤔 Now that I thought a bit more about it, it might be a reference to Warcry point values, but I still think it is pretty vaguely written 😕

Get what you like 👍 I made my suggestion based on getting something cool, but also getting it somewhat on the cheap.. I have pretty much all the models I want for Hedonites, and like them all (though Syll'Esske I like the least) The extra command point is that you have the option in Age of Sigmar matched play, to start with 1 extra command point if you pay 50pts when writing your list

If you are on a budget I would suggest something like 2 Start boxes 5 Hellstriders and a Keeper and an Epitome.. Keeper of Secrets The Contorted Epitome Bladebringer on Exalted Chariot Bladebringer on Seeker Chariot (You can make 2 Exalted Chariots or 4 Seeker Chariots ) - 10x Daemonettes 10x Daemonettes 5x Hellstriders - 5x Seekers 5x Seekers Supreme Sybarite (battalion) Seeker Cavalcade (battalion) Extra Command point This is exactly 2000pts on the nose And I think this gives a well rounded force from which you can expand with the units you find that you enjoy using. This advice is based on you having nothing and starting the army from scratch

Thank you for the kind gesture.. Things happened and I got a crazy deal on some Hedonites of Slaanesh, so I fleshed my army of those out and pushed back my StD dreams with no ETA in sight On a more positive note I still have Archaon in the mail coming at some point.. Really looking forward to painting such an awesome model!

Not so much speculation as it is just me hoping, but I would really like to see Realm Artifacts removed from matched play.. Global artifacts being as strong as they are just leads to everyone taking the same one, it's boring and imo limits choice if you want to make a competitive list. Other than that, summoned Pink Horrors of Tzeentch coming in units of 5 instead of 10 I feel would be a good solution to our current daemon invasion 😁 It halves the wounds you get "free" and puts that option more in line with the other God's summoning choices.

I have had some good advise already, the problem is that it would be me starting STD from scratch, so will have to find the banner and the horn from somewhere else Might just wait for boxes to release.. They must come at some point! Thanks for the advise though^^
