It looks like in *most* cases they went with a "1 box = minimum unit size" - with the exception that some are smaller than one box, as if they didn't want battleline or basic units to be over 300 points or so.

Well, I didn't, because I run exclusively Arcanites, but I get your point (also I did kind of say that in a way that would mean I run Horrors normally, so E on my part)

This is interesting - Tzaangor-types are no longer paying the "DoT tax"! They are all cheaper in BoC now than in DoT. That's a nice change

I will say, from the reactions in my LGS messenger group, it looks like pretty much everyone went up. I know pretty much everything I run in DoT got more expensive (except Horrors, but if we're reading right they got hit rules-wise).

It depends on which side you play, really. If you're a primarily daemon player, you got one of the best new books in a while. Survival buffs, damage boosts, new opportunities, all in all a good change. If you primarily play on the Arcanite side, you got a few new good things, some inexplicable nerfs, and the removal of any notions that things like subfactions or battalions are meant for you. (Regarding the GHB talk earlier, reductions in points would be nice sure, but I don't think that can address the fundamental issues with the Arcanite side of the book. It needs a rework.)

I'm just happy that Seraphon are finally getting updated, even if they have to share the spotlight (well, it will be stolen) with Yet Another Terrible Elf Faction (no a).
