Such a great ending! You really did great work here @KnaveOfScribes. Absolutely inspired me to think more narratively about my own Sylvaneth.

Very nice results! Always great to see a theme well executed! Army looks great all laid out together

Finally catching up - Still great work here, the theme and conversions came together really well. Best of luck with 2019!

This is an amazing idea that has come together exceptionally well. Fair play @Melcavuk

Been away from the site for awhile - glad to see this tread take off!
Awesome stuff guys.

I am a bit sad knowing this coming to an end! Very nice work on the wolf!

Lol yeah the new models look great. I don't really want another unit of 5 Trevs but its new trees so i'll have to get them!

Hello folks! Starting a narrative campaign in my local club tomorrow and really looking forward to trying some new play styles. Its a 500pt start with 300pts of possible reinforcements. Not really much wiggle room in 500pts and i don't know what kind of armies i'll be facing or what types of games we'll have but it should be fun.
Think i will try this to start:
Branchwych/wraith
Treelord
Tree Revenants (5)
Dryads (10 )
I'll update you all with how i get on!

Hell yeah! She is glorious!

Phew! I finally caught up! Spent the best part of the last few weeks reading the old discussion and this one. Had such a great experience reading up on all your discussions and battle reports. Been fascinating seeing all the different lists being tested and watching the meta change and everyone adapting.
I have been collecting Sylvaneth for a while now but only been playing since roughly AoS2 launched. Just a few games under my belt as the AoS scene in Cork (Ireland) is quite small but i hope to start contributing here and not just lurking!
Thanks for all the great advice up to now guys!

Cool idea! I'll keep an eye here, one on ForgeWorld and see what AoS delights they bring us!

You got mad patience to trawl through that thread. Some of those debates were pages and pages long. But we got good stuff out of them.
I thoroughly enjoyed the debates to be fair. Learnt alot ....especially about swords vs scythes
Holy ****** that video is awesome!

Pretty similar stuff for me. Play more games. Paint more stuff. Would love to built up to getting Alarele painted. Plus maybe getting a tournament in somewhere

Great stuff here man - impressed with not only your work but how much you get done!

Late to the thread as always .....but your work is amazing Chris. I love everything about this - the scheme, the execution, the icicles ;). The conversions are super smooth too. Totally glad it paid off you - both on the table and off. I'll be eagerly awaiting your next batch!

Truly awesome work! the conversions, the paint job, the lore, the board! Well done! Was a joy to read!

Another amazing thread @Mirage8112!! Been slowing progressing through the Sylvaneth chat (on page 122 of 126......) and just found your blog. Your stuff is above and beyond! That board is incredible.
Since you seem to be taking requests.....kinda.. if you ever have time a quick vid of the dry ice in action on that board would be a sight to behold!
Keep up your amazing stuff!

Well now.....in all honesty this has to be my favorite thing on the internet right now. I originally found an image of the Man-Stag (on pintrest or something) before my glorious return to the hobby some time ago and thought it was a legit GW release. I saved the pic to buy later and convert for my Sylvaneth army i was planning! It was sometime later when i saw the Ogroid Thaumaturge model! which makes your work all the more impressive.
Only discovered this site (and blog) a short time ago. Reading it over the last day or so has been absolutely riveting! I find myself looking forward to the lore and the conversions in equal measure. You my friend has some serious skills!
The integration of the death models makes complete sense reading the lore you created and you have completely inspired me to create some lore for my own army (strictly for my eyes only of course!)
So thanks again for all your work and posting here just for us!

AOS waterford?
in Ireland

I would also be curious about this - there is a small community in Cork (where I am based ) for AoS and Waterford is not a million miles off!
@Mortarch have you checked out the Warhammer store in Cork city yet?
