  1. Yeah I didnt realize how long it got when I posted this.
  2. I had the idea the other day to ally in the new Slann from Seraphon. A stardrake + a slann + a SC wizard and everblaze comet is just literal global comet sniping.
  3. @Kasper thank you for your input. 1. I'm running the Thunderquake battalion and I feel that the EotG is just strictly better than the Skink Chief steg. 10 less points for the same killing power, you lose the bow and the command ability but you gain 2 wounds and the engine effect which I think is a good trade off. 2. Yeah you're probably right. I just wanted a screen for my slann, a screen for my big dinos and a screen for my skinks which is weird to say. 3. Did you mean Thunder Lizard in this one? I have the Thunderquake battalion, but I specifically haven't chosen a constellation because I didnt know if I wanted to be Starborne or Coalesced. If I'm Coalesced I will be Thunder Lizard for the double taps and extra wounds. If I'm Starborne I think Fangs of Sotek will be the way to go. The extra 3" movement on almost my entire army is swell, but the CA will be vital for keeping the skinks alive. Like I said I'm leaning more towards Starborne. 4. I would but for no Kroak model. Kroak is clearly a superior Slann, I just really don't like finecast, so I never bought the model. I'm going to have to now that he just rocks. 5. "But. . . Big monster." - The Hulk
  4. Looking at this list I'm working on. Trying to be relatively competitive in a super competitive meta. (Think Bonereapers, Slaanesh, and Tzeentch at RTs) I'm looking for a solid 3-2 or if I practice enough with it 4-1 build. Big thing here is I dont know whether I want to go Starborne or Coalesced. Allegiance: Seraphon- Constellation: Coalesced Engine of the Gods (260)- Artefact: Cloak of FeathersSlann Starmaster (260)Skink Starpriest (120)Skink Priest (70) [general: master of star rituals] 30 x Skinks (180)- Meteoric Javelins Celestite Daggers & Star Bucklers10 x Skinks (60)- Meteoric Javelins Celestite Daggers & Star Bucklers10 x Skinks (60)- Meteoric Javelins Celestite Daggers & Star Bucklers10 x Skinks (60)- Meteoric Javelins Celestite Daggers & Star Bucklers3 x Kroxigor (140)Bastiladon (220)Stegadon (240)Thunderquake Temple-host (150)Bound Geminids of Uhl-Gysh (70)Bound The Burning Head (40)Bound Aethervoid Pendulum (60)Total: 1990 / 2000Extra Command Points: 1Allies: 0 / 400Wounds: 119 Like I said I dont know if I want Starborne or Coalesced. If Starborne I get to heal with the TQUAKE, make the Engine the General, and save 20 points for. . . Something. (I am leaning more towards Starborne). Coalesced though gives me some play against things like Tzeentch, Bonereapers, and Slaanesh by reducing damage I take and making the TQUAKE killy. Things to consider: I'd run skinks with blow pipes not javelins. That's just warscroll builder's default. Speaking of the skinks I took 30/10/10/10 rather than 40/10/10 for an extra screen. I don't have Salamanders, and my Kroxigors are cool conversions so I'd like to try and keep those.
  5. First off you don't need that many Woogity Kroxigors. You should give me like 6 of them.😁 Anyway Kroxigors are awesome in Thunderquake. With the plus one attack and plus one to hit from just being near a Skink unit they have roughly the same killing power as Necropolis Stalkers. I use 3-6 in my Thunderquake lists and they rip up anything they touch. Bastiladons are great screens now and your Kroxigors can charge around them with ease. You do have to be careful though. They do only have -1 rend so though they are killy they can just get blocked just as easily.
  6. Some folks have thought up running a Treelord Ancient and a Branchwraith.Treelord brings in a free wyldwood which our realmshaper engine can target and it gives good line of sight blocking against shooting heavy lists. Later the Branchwraith can summon in units of dryads to help with our numbers.
  7. I remember big dinos, some priests, and Saurus Knights which definitely interest me.
  8. I'm super interested in the Thunderquake (or it might have just been Thunder Lizards) they talked about near the end of the podcast. (Bad Dice Podcast with Seraphon playtesters) Can anyone here post up that list? I'm at work atm so I cant listen to the cast again, but if no one can by the time I am off I'll work on getting it up.
  9. What do we think about double battalions in Bonereapers? Allegiance: Ossiarch Bonereapers- Legion: Petrifex EliteLiege-Kavalos (200)- General- Command Trait: Mighty Archaeossian- Artefact: Helm of the OrdainedMortisan Boneshaper (130)- Artefact: Lode of Saturation- Lore of Mortisans: Empower Nadirite WeaponsMortisan Soulmason (140)- Artefact: Godbone Armour- Lore of Mortisans: Arcane Command20 x Mortek Guard (260)- Nadirite Blade and Shield10 x Mortek Guard (130)- Nadirite Blade and Shield10 x Mortek Guard (130)- Nadirite Blade and Shield2 x Morghast Harbingers (210)- Spirit Swords3 x Necropolis Stalkers (200)3 x Necropolis Stalkers (200)Gothizzar Harvester (200)Katakrosian Deathglaive (80)Mortek Shield-corps (120)Total: 2000 / 2000Extra Command Points: 2Allies: 0 / 400Wounds: 103 Some of my favorite models, lots of threat range, a big tanky Mortek blob, all of our favorite artifacts, and lots of RDP to play with.
  10. Can I put forward the motion to change the short version of Sons of Behemat? My brain gets really confused when I read about possible Sisters of Battle reveals in an AoS forum. Can we just call them Sons? Maybe SoBe or SoBh?
  11. It is absolutely fair to play Bonereapers. Bonereapers are IMHO one of the most "fair" armies out there. Everything we do is right there on the table. I feel like it is up to our opponents to unlock the potential of their army and come up with answers to the questions that our army asks.
  12. I thought horrors weren't battleline options. At least Azyr doesn't include them in the battleline section.
  13. So who do we think are the best battleline for this army? Plaguebearers get the minuses to hit, daemonettes are fast, and I think bloodletters are only great with buffs from BoK stuff. I think I like Daemonettes most.
  14. I have used your exact list #2 to some great effect so far. My Mortek Crawler is a WiP so I dont like to use its base too much, but I have given it a good couple of test runs. The crawler really forces your opponent to think about a lot of stuff they normally wouldn't against this list. Which is great. Blobs of 6 stalkers are a beautiful sight and will kill everything they touch. Especially with Katakros. I think the 5 Deathriders are almost essential to the list because you have nothing else to A] score some early objective points or B] threaten back line objectives. The challenge for this list is protecting your back line. Against super fast or teleporting armies we struggle to block the board with only our two blocks of 20 guard. I had a keeper of secrets squeeze between my two blobs and a terrain piece and assassinate my Katakros. The great thing about this list is that it still has a lot even after losing Katakros. I have played into Slaanesh and FEC with this list and have won both games. It's fun and has a lot to work with.
