  1. +++ Updated 1k List, Below +++ Hello everyone, This is my first post on TGA! I've chosen Maggotkin of Nurgle for my first AoS army. I would like some veterans to give me advice as I plan on having my first game soon. I currently own all the models for the 1,000 point list: HQ: Lord of Blights - 140 HQ: Poxbringer - 120 Battleline: 5x Blightkings - 160 Battleline: 5x Blightkings - 160 Battleline: 10x Plaguebarers - 120 Plague Drones: 3x - 200 Nurglings 3x - 100 Thank you in advance 🤮 ++ I removed the 2k list as I'd like to build a 1k list first ++

2k competative but stuck on modelpicks

So I'm looking for a build that is mostly competative in the 2k bracket, but I'm a little limited on models I have and not in the opportunity to get loads to set up a compltly different list. (made this a seperate topic as I feel the Let's chat Stormcast is getting cluttered with all the different lists and other banter and is hard for me to follow) This is what I came up with initially www.warscrollbuilder.com Steg - Allegiance: Order Leaders Lord-Celestant On Dracoth (220) - General - Command Trait : Staunch Defender - Tempestos Hammer & Thundershield - Artefact : Armor of Silvered Sigmarite - Dracoth Trait : Keen-clawed Lord-Castellant (100) Lord-Relictor (80) - Prayer : Lightning Chariot Knight-Venator (120) - Artefact : Luckstone Units 5 x Judicators (160) -Skybolt Bows - 1 x Shockbolt Bows 5 x Liberators (100) -Warhammer & Shield - 1 x Grandhammers 5 x Liberators (100) -Warhammer & Shield - 1 x Grandhammers 6 x Prosecutors with Stormcall Javelins (200) - 2 x Stormsurge Tridents 10 x Paladin Retributors (440) - 2 x Starsoul Maces 5 x Paladin Decimators (200) - 1 x Starsoul Maces 1 x Gryph-Hound (40) Battalions Hammerstrike Force (220) Reinforcement Points (0) Total: 1980 / 2000 Allies: 0 / 400 Leaders: 4/6 Battlelines: 3 (3+) Behemoths: 0/4 Artillery: 0/4 Made the Prosecutors 6 big so my delivery unit has more change to survive an opponents first turn if he get's to circumvent my deployment (behind building preferrably) Now I was not sure about the paladin load out.. 10 retributors in 1 or 2 units? If in 1 unit my second has to be the Decimators (wysiwig models, this is also for the 1 per 5 starsoul mace) If done in 2 units I have the option to complement the list with 2 Tempestors, but that will be another drop and I'm not sure if the unit will be sucha good asset on it's own. I do have some more models not mentioned here that I could also use: Celestant Prime Lord Celestant Knight-Azyros x2 Knight-Vexillor Knight-Questor a 3rd unit of hammer/shield Liberators 3 units of sword/shield Liberators 1 unit of xbow Judicators 2x unit of Prosecutors with dual hammers Thanks in advance for any tips!

    Lizards of the Storm

Hello there internet. i've brewed a Stormcast list aimed for a tournament using the new Generals handbook. Most of the list is salvage from my old list which did fairly well in the meta against skyfires etc. The biggest change to the list is the Allies, which is.. well Skinks. as many as i could fit in. I'd like to hear your thoughts on the list. if there is any glaring mistakes or weaknesses. and in general your thoughts. Open to all Comments. you can be as Honest as you'd like. Allegiance: Stormcast EternalsLeadersLord-Celestant On Stardrake (560)- General- Celestine Hammer- Trait: Staunch Defender - Artefact: Mirrorshield - Stardrake Trait: Keen-clawedLord-Castellant (100)Lord-Relictor (80)- Prayer: Lightning ChariotBattleline40 x Skinks (200)- Boltspitters & Star Bucklers40 x Skinks (200)- Boltspitters & Star Bucklers5 x Judicators (160)- Skybolt Bows- 1x Shockbolt Bows- Stormcast Eternals Battleline5 x Judicators (160)- Skybolt Bows- 1x Shockbolt Bows- Stormcast Eternals Battleline5 x Liberators (100)- Warhammers- 1x GrandhammersUnits2 x Tempestors (220)2 x Tempestors (220)Total: 2000/2000 The most obvious weakness is magic. Dracothian guard and Stardrake will melt away to mortal wounds caused by it. . Otherwise it should have great staying power. and mobility.

    2K stormcast eternals list

Hi again. I am a bit over the 40k hype and remembered I have a SCE army to build. At the moment I have: 15 liberators 6 prossecutors 5 retributies 1 lord celestant 1 lord castelant 1 lord reluctor For 2k I want er to build the following. Battalion: Hammerstrike force. Leaders: Lord celestant - general, gunning strategist (loving at least the prossecutors 5" forward, so I get a more effective hammerstrike force Alpha strike) Lord castelant (hugging the liberators) Lord relictor - spellshield, *need advice on the prayer* Knight azyros (supporting prossecutors) BATTLELINE 10 liberators - 2 grandhammers, hammer & shields 5 liberators - 1 grandhammer, hammer & shields 5 judicators, shockboltbow, bows 5 judicators, shockboltbow, bows OTHER UNITS 10 protectors - 2 starsoulmaces 5 retributors - 2 starsoulmaces 6 prossecutors - grandhammer, grandblade, paired jammer 3 prossecutors - trident & javelins. The battleplan is to hurl the projectors at the big nasties and the rest come slogging on foto. Maybe I should make 1 big liberators unit and take lichting chariot on the relictor. Also I get to pick an extra Magic item but I am not sure which one. Advice?

    Help with Nurgle/Pestilens 2k List

Hey guys, I'm looking for some advice on my Nurgle/Pestilens List. I currently only have a pestilens start collecting box, so I'm just at the beginning stage of my dive into this army. Here's what I'm thinking Leaders/Heroes The Glottkin (480) Epidemius (180) Plague Furnace (220) Units 10 x Plaguebearers of Nurgle (100) 10 x Plaguebearers of Nurgle (100) 10 x Plaguebearers of Nurgle (100) 20 x Plague Monks (140) 20 x Plague Monks (140) War Machines Plagueclaw (180) Plagueclaw (180) Plagueclaw (180) 2000/2000 This is what I've been thinking but would really like some opinions on this. The Glottkin being our general here, his command ability should make our Plague Monks nice and nasty with the extra attacks as well as the +1 to wounds of the unit with Fleshy Abundance. Although this can only target one unit at a time, so I'm wondering if I should just go one big unit of Plague Monks? (30 or 40). Epidemius for Nurgles Tallyman, the models slain effects speak for itself. The plague furnace really only effects the Monks themselves. This is where I am torn. Is it even worth it? Would be fun to rush in and attack with, but maybe there is a smarter option? Bring in a unit of Plaguedrones instead? Plaguebearers although slow as hell I need for battleline. Although once in combat should be great fun, nice and meaty. Plagueclaws to shoot holes in units, give as much range as possible. Any thoughts, criticisms etc are welcomed! Really want to make a fun, but strong army list. I feel like I need Plaguedrones in there but I can't figure out what to drop for them!! Thanks for looking guys.
  6. So, I'm looking to expand my Ironjawz to a competitive 2k list but I'm not 100% convinced that a pure Ironjawz list would be efficient due to the lack of ability to inflict/resist mortal wounds and model count. The list I think will be most efficient is below. I chosen this to maximize speed and the characters unit buff abilities over the classic cabbage option you see out there. Leaders Orruk Megaboss (140) Battle Brew & Ravager Orruk Megaboss (140) Gem of Seeing Orruk Warchanter (80) Orruk Warchanter (80) Orruk Warchanter (80) Orruk Weirdnob Shaman (120) Battleline 20 x Orruk ‘Ardboys (360) 10 x Orruk-forged Big Choppa’s & 9 x Orruk-forged Choppas & Smashas 10 x Orruk ‘Ardboys (180) 9 x Orruk-forged Choppas & Smashas 10 x Orruk Brutes (360) Boss Klaw & Brute Smasha, 2 x Gore-Choppas, 5 x Jagged Gore-Hacka’s & 2 x Two Brute Choppas 10 x Orruk Brutes (360) Boss Klaw & Brute Smasha, 2 x Gore-Choppas, 5 x Jagged Gore-Hacka’s & 2 x Two Brute Choppas 5 x Orruk Brutes (180) 3 x Two Brute Choppas, Boss Klaw & Brute Smasha & 1 x Gore-Choppas Battalion Ironfist (60) Input would be great. Clearly it lacks shooting & numbers but as I don't have experience in playing 2k games I am unsure if this is such a disadvantage considering the units damage output...
  7. Hi Everyone, i just got myself some Gutbusters and really want to make competitive list (That, with a good general...could perform at tournaments). Im really looking at getting into the tournament scene of warhammer and would like to use my new Gutbusters as a start. LeadersButcher (140)Tyrant (160)UnitsOgors x 6 (240)- BattlelineOgors x 6 (240)- BattlelineOgors x 3 (120)- BattlelineLeadbelchers x 3 (160)- Gutbusters BattlelineIronguts x 6 (440)Ironguts x 6 (440)BattalionsGutbuster Wartribe (60) (formation needs 1x butcher, 1x Tyrant, 3x ogors 1x ledbelchers) it seems like a really good formation, your opinion?Total: 2000/2000 - Is this on the right path? - What would you change to make it more effective? - Anyone using Gutbusters that has any experience on how they performe in age of sigmar? Goodwin's Rotbringers 2k

Hey hey, Seen a few people posting on possible Nurgle lists. Here's what I've been thinking for my pretty elite Rotbringer force. I do have access to a fair sized Slaves to Darkness Nurgle force, but I'm not pumped about the paint job or the square bases, so I want to start with these guys and re-base/paint/grow from there. Plaguetouched Warband Herald of Decay Morbidex Twiceborn Orghott Daemonspew Bloab Rotspawned Blightkings x5 Blightkings x5 Blightkings x10 Nurgle Warshrine And that's it! A little worried about body count, but it should be hard to take them down. Blightkings have a chance to throw healing and mortal wounds around per unit. Herald gives the 5+ Nurgle Rescue, and Warshrine offers a 6+ Protection as well. My other thought was to run a Rotbringer Sorceror and Festus the Leechlord instead of the Warshrine, and then split the 10man into two 5man units. This is tempting as it'll give me more spells, as well as a way to generate additional mortal wounds (Arcane Bolt/Stream of Corruption to stack with Bloab's Miasma for Hero phase, as well as a Mystic Shield). Actually, damn, maybe I'll do that instead. I lose out on the first ability from Plaguetouched Warband as no one will have 7 models. However, giving -1 to hit to the Blightkings and those monsters is pretty nice. If Bloabl's flies are helpful, enemies could be looking at -2 to hit in combat! What do you guys think? Thanks thanks!
  10. Hey there everybody! With the Generals Handbook and the Season of War just days away, I've been trying to mock up a list for anyone wanting to use the standard match play set up, aka 2000 ptspts, in my area. Sadly, I've been on vacation all weekend so I havent had a chance to confirm if my math was right or not, but based on the leaks from Atia this should fit. Tell me what you all think! 2x20 Clan Rats- Battleline Rats, Cheap, Swarmy, Bubblewrap 2x20 Plague Monks- Glass Cannon Swarm, buff targets, Bubblewrap 2x10 Plague Bearers- Symmetrical, tanky, annoyance, Battleline 1x20 Daemonettes- High damage unit, can charge after being summoned, Extra battleline unit 1x Poison Wind Mortar Team- Long range, High damage, chips away wothout needing LOS. Kills big units. 1x Keeper Of Secrets- Super Fun Rules, Good Spell, great damage, Buffs Daemonettes 1x ArchWarlock- Two spells a turn, centre of fluff, Generally awesome. Good AoE. Need help choosing a name! 1x Warp Lightning Cannon- BIG damage, good range, Dubbed the "Lord Celestant on Dracoth Killer" 1x Plague Furnace- Good AoE damage, hreat in combat, makes Plague Monks amazing 1x Herald of Slaanesh on Exalted Seeker Chariot- Crazy Damage, Fast, Murderous Distraction Carnifex I also have more nurgle daemons (1-2 starter sets minus the plague bearers,) assorted skaven (mostly the IOB stuff) and a slaanesh daemon prince. Any suggestions are welcome, will be happy to answer questions (especially fluff wise ;D)
