  1. Except we don’t know that for certain. We know that the video contained an animated squig and a bug. That is all we know. Unless you work for GW, in which case you may know more.
  2. Sylvaneth and Gloomspite seems likely but there is no evidence at all that it’s a box set. Could be a board game. All we’ve got is a 30 second animated video with a squig hopper and a bug - could be anything.
  3. To be fair, that was purely fan-generated hype and speculation. And it never made a lot of sense that GW would do a massive, game changing event so soon after Soul Wars. Personally I’m thinking the seminar will preview a new battletome, the rest (if there is any) of Slaanesh, Looncurse and some more Warcry. And an army reveal video that doesn’t actually reveal anything.
  4. Really like the yellow there Elmir, awesome stuff.
  5. Slaanesh does seem the most likely to be released next. Warcry is Summer (gotta assume Northern Hemisphere) and I don’t think they’ve got any other major previews at the moment.
  6. 14 more Battletomes this year seems like a stretch, even with GW’s increased release schedule. I could definitely see them getting the existing Battletomes updated though. Haven’t been on Faeit for a long time, it just became re-posts from the Warhammer Community site - has Natfka had any reliable rumours for a while?
  7. I feel like the Great Horned Rat should be the true successor to Malal - true anarchy and chaos for chaos’ sake. At the moment there is a little too much Nurgle and Tzeentch in there for me.
  8. Personally, I think this part of the rumour is just wishlisting but it could always be Slaangors.... AoS kit with 40K conversion kit available like the Tzaangors. That would be nice. Personally prefer humans but I’d never say no to more Gors. Or both. Both would be best.
  9. So it seems to me like the Chaos warbands are all going to be from a different realm - the article says the Iron Golem are from Chamon and the other guys from the reveal trailer have a real Ghur vibe. I really like that. If that proves true, what other realms do you think we’re going to see? Guessing nothing for Realm of Chaos or Azyr.
  10. Personally don’t care in the slightest what they do with the non-Chaos warbands - it’s Chaos all they way for me. And I’m really hoping the different warbands will be useable in a Slaves to Darkness army. I’m going to anyway, even if it’s just proxies.
  11. Well I like the way Warcry is shaping up and the Slaanesh stuff looks great. Definitely happy with this showing. Shame Fyreslayers aren’t getting expanded but I don’t collect them so not a biggy for me personally.
  12. Just to throw another theory out there - could the rumour engine be Slaanesh? It does look very Aelvish but I could definitely see it in a Slaaneshi mortal army.
  13. Looking good. I’m generally not a fan of the Bloodletter models but the muted tone really makes them work for me.
  14. I think what I’m most looking forward to is the different factions being a big showcase on the diversity of Chaos. It’ll be so good to see things outside the four archetype armies of the Chaos gods.
  15. So I’m thinking the red armoured guys would actually look good in purple and silver to kick start the Slaanesh army I didn’t need. Really looking forward to this. I hope it has a similar terrain quantity and value as the Kill Team starter.
  16. Well, I’m definitely all in for Warcry. Love the idea of throwing all the “gangs” together as one big Chaos army too.
  17. Fingers crossed for a proper reveal of whatever Warcry is at GAMA.
  18. My point is that two opposing factions had numerous examples of the same basing feature. This could be Goblins looting an Idoneth treasure trove, or Flesh Eater Courts, or Seraphon, or yes, Idoneth Endless spells. Or it could be Noise Marines on an Aeldari Craftworld. Unless you work for GW, all of these are equally plausible but none of them are certain.
  19. But based on that logic, we would have thought the Bloodbound and Stormcast Eternals in the original starter set were the same army because they used the same thorny vine thing on the bases. I don’t think we can make anything close to accurate guesses from these rumour engine shots and we definitely can’t say anything is 100%..... unless you have other info?
  20. So “Stormvault” is being released but I’m still none the wiser as to what a Stormvault is. Not really interested in these releases but I’m definitely looking at that as a positive thing - my backlog of GW board games is already too big.
  21. Isn’t Skirmish the AoS Killteam? I’m not saying it’s as good and there are obviously a lot a differences in the mechanics but isn’t that the gaming niche it fills? It would seem odd to replace it so soon after being re-done. Not impossible, just odd.
  22. You say that but then why Orruks and Aelves? GW have shown that they will go to great lengths to defend their IP and have done so successfully in the past. Tomb Kings feel like a victim of the frustrating reality of that situation to me but I don’t work for them so my guess is a good as the next persons.
  23. Personally, I don’t think we’ll ever see Tomb Kings back as they were because it’s not a defensible IP. The Egyptian Mummy theme is just way too common and GW seems to be making efforts to distance itself from a lot of those old archetypes. Feel like that “model” is just art anyway.
  24. I’m really not a fan of these reveals that don’t reveal anything.... Khorne stuff is cool though but I’ll never use it as a spell. They’re going to be repurposed as scenery, they’d make great alters.
