The real issue I have with all this soulblight awesomeness... vhat about deathrattle awesomeness? wightking on mount, okaaaay, but black knights , skellis and graveguard look kinda left behind. I hope they get integrated well into all the ruler of the night dynasties

As mother of nightmares... some reality into nightmare bending aura of despair, -1 to wound and bravery?! aaaand I would love to see an increasing stat line. fielded my Chaosdwarves with Skarbrand last week and I loved it (one more round with 1hp) make it slow down, get -x to cast, but add to the claw attacks. but with the LRL fox and other new powerplay heroes, the possibilities of CA are a bit wider than +1 to something. Pile in restrictions and ignore basic rules are thrown onto the table, destroy feature x, do ridiculous stuff... i want my vamp on foot to have: flicker: at the start of the combat phase, this model can move up to 4“ without restrictions. This model fights at the end of the combat phase and can pile in an additional 6“ because this will get faqed 6 times and just sits right in the excellent coherent rules GDubs is famous for

The Druchii black dragon head could fit 🤔 i do have spare vampire legs from all my terrorgheists or maybe a standing/crouching pose🧐 Maybe not the worst idea to make a more controversial Centre piece, all the haters can go proxy and custom built

Well, looking at the Vangorians again after a good 8h hanging from the parapet 🦇 i still think a morathi approach with two models would have been better... the lower Body looks totally rad ☢️ and the upper body has the old gothic style I love. It’s maybe just the fear of a new style, centaurs never were a vampire thing before. let‘s see how the rules treat us, as far as I can see, the usual vampire lists will be possible, maybe with some NH allies. and with grandma riding living wolves, my investment into fenrisian wolves pays out big time. Her lycanthrop g5-son is hopefully the 250-300 melee monster I hoped for 😈 can‘t wait to field 25 bloodknights with wolves and bats again, led by a highly altered vangorian lord

Well, I think that went rather well... some people happy, only few devestated and crying (I feel your pain, Aborash the fleet captain was a dream 🤣) I like what I saw, Radukar and his mommy from the prussian wasteland, pretty nice. I‘m not digging the human centipede, but conversion or proxy 😇

With the LoN-Book it was possible to go full bloodknights (as the Soulblight faction, with bloodlines 😻) or full horde with necromancers with the legions... unit focus was grand host more deathrattle (guards being line and better Morghast) LoBlood you were back at vampires again (plus bravery debuff). sacrament and night with special abilities I really liked the versatility of the LoN book and hope for the same, maybe with some deeper lines between the „legions“

🤔 sounds legit I hope they’ll add a bit to the range and then hard split the book into three...Not like LoN, all the units and some special rules, but a bit like LoN + FEC (rules), or cities or something with additional battleline. Wolves and zombies or skeleton always line, and some boiled down specific rules. one Vampircount with all the knights and dynasty rules one wightking deathrattle with grave guards and stuff one more for necromantic horrors and magic...

Try using that hook-up line in chaos chat 🤔 No real experience with the maggotkin rules. But it‘s the same as above, as against stonehorns, khornethirsters or others. Score, endure, try to die as late as possible in the game. the maw does not degrade, so the 6 mortals are a constant threat. Maybe go for full gardening & summoning, to score around the board. Also nurglings could be good counter, their regeneration is nice. delay, divert, debuff, especially speed which you have iirc. Remember, retreat back to objective is an option, he need an hero for frenzy...

Somewhere in between that 😂 With Neffi, manni as 350+ buff pieces, vordhrai and VloZd as 450+ melee, the throne is 250-300 buff, a 200-300 melee piece would be nice, the palanquin is a bit lackluster. like the Chaos lord on Karkadrak something fierce...

Fluff - Death vs Tabletop - Death... in undying king they had tribes with shamans everywhere, in dominion of bones city people and aristocracy (living & undead openly together) in Soulwars a Necromancer summons corpses to engulf him, making him golem like... but all those ideas need rules and coherency within a battletome. And for every style of undeath to be fully fleshed out (🥳), we would need two books... vampire courts and Necromancer things But whatever is missing in the upcoming book, I hope a bit for a castlevania style funky soulblight faction, nice characters with cool fluff and good synergies for broad list building. going full deathmarch with wights&skellis going full aristocratic lords and knights going walkers with zombies and vermin Please Nagash, make it so... all is one

That’s why I’m a bit torn and anxious about the book... Now it looks like LoN 2.0 with minor adjustments. Which is kinda fine, hopefully some rad things are revealed in near future. like Anna and the Rat, but as you said, maybe something also for adventurous science Necromancers ( 🧟‍♀️I hoped for two books 🧛🏻‍♂️)

Paper rules are one thing, global production of plastic something else. My prediction: next week we‘ll see an announcement of AoS 3.0, SB will be pushed into summer, if things are fully crash&burn autumn I‘m neither sad (maybe a bit) or mad, but the production of our big centerpiece and Abhorash as a Sigvald type blender will take time and the release of CC and the Underworld Warband shows, that resources are scarce and maybe lacking for a full blown SBGL escalation 🍷🧛🏻‍♂️👍 Nagash protects

NAGASH FINDS YOUR LACK OF FAITH DISTURBING!!! The things we saw, especially with some CC content looks like a pretty solid vampire based book... The new Knights, the crazy new Lords and new batswarms... The Wightking with his new skellis, the funky Zombies then some hopefull additions, like the Vargskyr moster or the crazy vampire thralls, if new plastic arrives at the factory 😻 some concerns are valid, risks and red flags are there, but such are the dealings with GDubs and the times we live in

True... it is a bit much for one book, especially since it boils down to GA Death (-OBR) if FEC gets rolled in. that would seriously cut down the options in the armies, if you think about every other faction. usually you have your factions and about four sub-factions, if you now think about the rough edges of the new Soulblight book, there are vampires in there, and deathrattle, of course necromancers&zombies too... with fec that would make three. That would really restrain the flavor option in the three faction. Could be done and would leave the players with HUGE options in list building. I always loved LoN for the sheer number of Battlelines, units and heroes. Think about a fat middle group of necro, wight, walkers, wolves, then one side the aristocracy of vampires, maybe only two or three varieties/dynasties (melee/buff/magic) and on the other side the demented lunatics of the carrion king with monsters... each faction could be played exclusively or could mix and match from the fat middle up to 50%. Up to 25% they KEEP their own faction rules, up to 50% and they fall under the Walker/Rattle rules. Mixing of vamps and court only in the walker /rattle faction, because they are allergic to each other (well, vamps are) (Of course I‘m all for doing that with vamps - necros - wights, too, but then they would need (i like) to expand the range with undead constructs and stuff 🤔) we‘ll see... hopefully awesome fluff
