ManlyMuppet88
Hello all! My wife and I just bought Shadespire and are loving it but with Christmas approaching fast we’re looking at grabbing Nightvault as well. My question is - How do the Shadespire warbands stack up against the Nightvault warbands? Has magic made the old warbands a little sub-par, or have they balanced it fairly well? Sleboda
It's all very much nicely balanced. Newer is not better, just newer, and it can take time to figure out the stuff the newer items do, which can give the (false) impression that the new stuff is better. Enjoy both together with confidence.
ManlyMuppet88
That’s good to hear. I’m really looking forward to throwing hordes of Deathrattle at hordes of Grots.
riddlesworth
There aren't enough magic boosting cards to make it an overpowering system and the way it has been implemented has made it very much risk vs. reward. We're seeing warbands that fell to the bottom of the heap in Shadespire winning more events now, mainly due to the banned and restricted list. Definitely a good time to get into the game. ManlyMuppet88
Thanks for the link, it was a good read. There are a lot of accessories mentioned in there I might have to get. Coin capsules are genius. Edited December 3, 2018 by ManlyMuppet88
