Can the order Wizard take an Artefact, and if so is it chosen from the general Order Artefacts or from the Sylvaneth list?

I don't think so - If your army is using Sylvaneth allegiance you don't have access to Order artefacts, and the Sylvaneth artefacts specify the Sylvaneth keyword for recipients.

However... He can take Realm Artefact, right ?

The problem here is, when the question was ask, it was a 1.0 question most likely (after the new edition came out on 30.06.).

The question here is, is the choosen realm connected to the Allegiance. If this is the case, the rule that allies can't profit would count and the Order Wizard could only get an Artefact in an Order Army.

@MrCharisma I don’t think they can for the same reasons. The wording in the Malign Sorcery expansion suggests that by selecting a realm for your army, you say that your army is a Sylvaneth army from the realm of Ghyran (for example).

So, in the example, it follows that to receive any artefacts the model needs to have the Sylvaneth keyword.

WARSCROLL BATTALIONS

A warscroll battalion can include allies. ey do not count against the limit on the number of allied units you can include in the army.

So, order wizard in Gnarlroot is an Ally, you just don't count him in Allies point limit, but all other suspensions are on.
