Ciciek Posted January 22, 2018 Share Posted January 22, 2018 Hello everyone, I've been lurking here for a short while, watching all painting and modelling threads. Slowly trying to stay motivated and keep paiting, I've had lot of trouble finishing units/models, this year however it got a little better. Firstly, here are my first 3 stormcasts out of 5, but after number 3 I ran out of motivation. All 3 separately and family photo. Secondly my 3 Screamers, I experimented a lot on them, mainly with the horns, which I painted for the first time, still not sure how to do them. First is the Alpha screamer, then other 2 and family photo Next I'm onto painting a blood warrior, hopefully I'll have some photos soon. Tzaangor Management Posted January 22, 2018 Share Posted January 22, 2018 Really nice work here, very clean sharp painting and really like the colour scheme on those Stormcast in particular. You don't often see red, for obvious reasons, but it really works and puts me in the mind of Roman Centurions. I would think that the silver metal could take a wash to bring out some of the details, perhaps a Nuln Oil Gloss, so as not lose too much of the shine, but overall these are excellent and I'll be looking out for more! I'd echo @Tzaangor Management's suggestion of a nuln oil gloss wash on the silver, but overall your stuff is coming together nicely. I had fun painting gold, red and silver, but after that I kinda lost my motivation. Nonetheless here is the result and I'm glad to jump onto next project.
