Morathi tracked it down and tried to seduce him, but when she failed (this is becoming a theme with her) she transformed into her shadow queen form. Their battle raged for a week, but Morathi was victorious and now owns Khaine's heart. Rather than trying to resurrect Khaine, however, Morathi siphons off the energy that pours into the heart when her cultists pray to Khaine. Long story short: Khaine ain't coming back.

You target a unit with attacks. The unit makes armor saves if the hit and wound rolls are both successful. Then damage is dealt. Then wounds are allocated to a single model. That model can then use any abilities it possesses that trigger upon a wound being allocated to it.

Remember that there is a very good chance that she will absorb one of the 3 allocated wounds with fanatical faith, so the chance that she dies in two turns is actually rather small.

Agree about Nagash's CA, but the second part is just not true. So many people trot out the old "dead to shooting turn 1/2" when the reality is that an extreme minority of lists you face in a tournament are capable of that, and of those that are, you play accordingly. You might as well say "if I play poorly my opponent kills my models"

Phenomenal stuff! Keep the pics coming as I will definitely be trying some of your light source techniques as my painting skills slowly improve after being out of the hobby for many years. What size brush are you using to get such fine control in the battle damaged areas? I have traditionally avoided anything smaller than a size 1 Winsor and Newton since i have trouble getting good flow of of anything smaller.
