  1. Of course! We all are! I agree, but...! At least they stand out among themselves which is less than I can say about the Farstriders. With only three models you'd have thought they'd be able to make each fighter truly stand out.
  2. To be honest, with the exception of Guard and Skaven, all the warbands look a LOT like their AoS counterparts. It's not that they are bad in any way, but in general I'd wish they'd make these characters stand much more out.
  3. I almost can't get over how extremely boring I find the Farstriders. The leader with the bird is okay, but the other two are amazingly uninspired. I guess this will be the first warband I'm actually gonna convert. The "standard uniform" theme works for a warband with lots of unnamed dudes - but not for this small scale game with individual characters. Steelhearth's warband managed to make them individuals. Bloodbound looks good though - I really like the "soul-skulls" on the base
  4. While it perhaps doesn't feel like totally impassible terrain, I like how they don't obscure the battlefield. Also it's possible to actually shift an objective into it. Looks good man!
  5. How does the ability to re-roll a die work with "hits all adjacent fighters"-attacks? Say I put Awakened Weapon on Harvester.
  6. Of course it's possible. Yes, you are giving up on some synergy, but you'll be able to throw more combat oriented objectives in instead. And you won't suffer from the many drawbacks of playing hold objectives either such as losing points to a simple push or needing to hold/draw specific objectives/cards.
  7. The frosting of death... Let me start by saying it's not normal, and it shouldn't be happening. Several things can cause the purity seal frosting. The most common reason is if it's too humid or too cold. Too humid and the spray will catch water particles on it's way to the model. This will cause the spray to apply uneven, causing the frosted effect. Too cold and the a few particles will kinda freeze causing the same effect. If you can help it. spray in a heated workshed or similar. If you consider the models ruined, you can take your chances and actually apply ANOTHER spray of purity seal. With a little luck it'll fill out the uneven previous layer and the frosting can actually disappear.
  8. And let's be honest here - while Shardcaller has great potential it's a very balanced card. 1. You need to actually draw it in time to benefit from it. 2. At best it can trigger twice per game. 3. You need to actually have a specific guy standing on an objective (a condition easy to disrupt) 4. To benefit a second time, your guy needs to move to a different objective. Assuming you are wanting two specific objectives (2 & 4?) You reap great rewards, but by golly you need to put a lot of effort into it. I agree with Hesa_First; Earthquake seems like it casually destroys a whole lot of careful planning way to easy. I hope we see a lot of cards that benefit different playstyles.
  9. With an objective deck you take a HUGE risk even before the start of the first round... Do you get lucky and get three objectives or are you basically f***ed for the entire game with only 2 objectives. Also you risk starting with 5 and 1 (or 3), making even more of your objectives useless. Even if you are lucky and start with three objewctives, it could be 1, 3 and 5. Bye bye keys. Bye bye Tactical Supremacies. In my opinion Hold Objectives decks needed a boost if anything - not a hard counter.
  10. Wait what...!?! Players were allowed to charge with a fighter, use time trap and then attack with the same fighter again? Allowed by the game designer? The guy supposedly in charge of the FAQs as well? I don't know what to make of this...
  11. Can anyone transcribe the cards or provide a bigger image? I wonder how exactly Skritch's "summon" works?
  12. So many great miniatures! I'll have restrain myself to keep from painting the dwarfs until after a month or so when all the cool schemes have poured in! Keep it up guys!
  13. Nice preview, thanks! Hadn't seen that anywhere else. I'm really excited for both of these. Honestly I don't particularly like the look of Fyre Slayers, but I think they will be fun to paint. I'm gonna make their runes glow. OSL is such fun to paint. Skaven are always cool. I won't even begin to guess what the rules for either will be. But I bet we'll get 2 more pieces for the armor set. Could we possible get 2 more keys? I hope we get a couple of cards that let us do something with objective 5. Nothing synergizes with unlucky 5 right now - and that's a problem because your opponent knows to go after the other objectives rather than 5.
  14. Sure, but wouldn't you want to save and tweak your deck though? It would be annoying to have to re-create it every time you'd swap a single card
  15. They want to spread the hype over a longer period? They have explicitly told us it's because that would require a login system which would take quite a bit more time to implement. They are very aware of our wishes for this.
  16. SO MUCH THIS!!! The website is a great tool, don't get me wrong, but there's room for improvement.
  17. Move/charge/guard tokens are placed on the board, not the fighter card. So remove all tokens from your fighter card does indeed just mean "remove all wound tokens". When I get a fighter taken out of action who has done one of the above actions, I remove all wound tokens from the card and instead place the model and any move/charge/guard tokens attached to it there as a reminder.
  18. - Remove them and their tokens from the battlefield (move/charge token included) - Clear all tokens from their FIGHTER CARD (wound tokens) So no, it's very clear cut. Movement/charge and even guard tokens stay while out of action.
  19. I really like the damaged "blind" eye on the leader
  20. @tom_gore - Silver armor, gold trims, white fabric: Good taste my friend... good taste...
  21. @DynamicCalories - I really like the winter theme you did on the Champions. You don't see that a lot as the leaves tend to invite to a warmer summer or fall theme.
  22. The stubbles are a nice touch I might go back and do that to mine!
  23. Very nice! You should'ave put a ram-skull on his staff though
