[The Black Sunz - Ironjawz - Update 28/02 - PICS! Whole new army painted!!]

Evening all!

I haven't really been sharing my recent painting progress on this forum (something I need to rectify), however I recently completed a project that I felt compelled to share with you guys.

Basically, I had a client who wanted me to paint his Ironjawz army to match the colour scheme of my very own Black Sunz clan. This took a lot of time but was great fun to do. My own army was started before Stomhost Silver existed, so I have not used that colour on it whatsoever. This is a shame as its the perfect top colour for chipped metal and it really bought this version of the army to life. The basing is also different as it had to match my client's Beastclaw Raiders - because of this, I also painted the Gruntas in a pale scheme as per the GW Mournfang Pack.

Anyway, I won't go on forever, check out the pics and let me know what you think. If you're at Heat One this weekend, this army is being played (by its owner), I'll be there as well, but will be using my Phoenix Temple (I know, boo!).

To confirm, tickets for BLACKOUT 2019 will go on sale at 8pm on 1st March for £45. Payment details will appear nearer this time. 

If you have a group or club planning to attend, please get in contact as I’m happy to do some prerelease sales in these instances! That way groups can get their accommodation sorted well ahead of time as Cardiff can get pricey if left late.

There will be a pack by the general ticket release date, however it will be very much in-line with last year’s event.

Just to confirm the event is definitely going ahead. 

Ive been to plenty of events over the years with this number of attendants (or smaller) and they are always a great, intimate affair. We’ll have a tight knit social group that stays together and interacts all weekend including the Saturday night bowling. 

We’ve got a WhatsApp going and everyone is buzzing with ideas etc. It’s not too late to sign up if you wanna be part of it. If you’re worried about lists/monsters etc gimme a message and I’ll see if we can help out.

Happy New Year everyone!

It's been a while since I ran an event in my home town of Weymouth in Dorset, so I thought I'd book a small one in around my Birthday (26th March) this year.

With BLACKOUT being my "standard" Matched Play event, I thought I'd do something a bit different for this one so I'm please to announce Extinction for 30-31 March this year.

Once again BLACKOUT will be returning to Firestorm Games in Cardiff. This year's event will take place on 10-11th August.

Well done to @Paul Buckler & @Ninja_Badger_Rich for taking out the win.

Thanks to anyone who voted for or said nice things about mine and @Forestreveries's armies. All the hours we crammed in over the week leading up to the event really paid off.

Also thanks to the 6 guys we played. 3 awesome games, with both losses being incredibly close. Unfortunately, BCR were every bit as bad as I expected...except for when you're playing Duality of Death and can just snowball off all your opponents heroes (sorry MTCLAWHAMMER!)

I look forward to the next one.
