The gencon preview last year was mostly third party board game stuff. They didn’t show any AoS or Underworlds, I wouldn’t expect any different this time. They showed the Nightvault starter at Nova last year, which is the end of August, so we will probably see Beastgrave then.

That Eldar stuff is all fanmade stuff for 30k I’m pretty sure, and not official at all. But yeah, the runes on the ruins match the runes on the Harlequin models, so I’m leaning Eldar for them, although there’s a fair amount of crossover with Eldar and elf runes and things. Forgeworld stuff has occasionally been in the rumour engines though.

As far as I know the Cypher Lords don’t follow Tzeentch, none of them follow any god in particular.

Similar in the way a boot with a spike on the toe is similar to another boot with a spike on the toe, sure. They aren’t actually that similar though, the wizard looks a fair bit cruder than the rumour engine pic.

I’ve just ordered the card pack. I should have included it in my original order anyway, but I didn’t realise they would be seemingly limited. I’ve loved the snake elves since they came out and this is an excuse to get some without starting a new army. Cards:

Their attitude was no worse than the original complaints were.

Tzeentch is just a case of a battletome, endless spells and terrain. Quicker than a release with lots of new kits, easier to fit in the schedule etc.

No, they said at Warhammer Fest that there was still at least 1 battletome for each grand alliance to come, and that was after Slaanesh was released.

I think they meant that, in the set of 3 endless spells, there could be a human one, and elf one and a duardin one or something like that. Not 3 different sets.

If it was today we’d have had an article last Sunday. The earliest they’ll be up for preorder is next Saturday (and we’ll know next saturdays preorders tomorrow).

As others have said, I’m pretty sure that art is from Underworlds series 3. It matches previous art style for Underworlds and fits the bestial/wild theme.

They’re just sepulchral guard in more standard poses. The Sepulchral Guard aren’t any less ‘generic skeletons’ than the skeleton kit.

Warcry has a 2 week preorder. They don’t usually have anything in the week between when they do 2 week preorders.
