  1. From the ever reliable Lady Atia over at war-of-sigmar.herokuapp.com:
  2. I would expect that to be the case though. No different to all the Battletomes and Realm War books. The opposite (free app content) would be the surprise.
  3. What do you mean buy separately? As in printed in the book and then a separate microtransation app? Seems fair; more choice.
  4. Definitely requires plenty of seasoning. We'll see how it pans out over the next few weeks.
  5. From DakkaDakka with no link/source. Season with salt as required.
  6. You can directly copy+paste the image address:
  7. Thanks. When we put terrain down we try and make it look coherent. The terrain itself is varied so we use that scattered grass material to blend parts together.
  8. A lot of fun, it not hit and miss. We use the SCGT system (guys I play with like point). On the first game I was able to make a first turn charge (4D6 move + 2D6 charge) straight into Manfred (aka Big Fred). He munched half of his wounds. Battle went on for another turn but eventually Big Fred won. Whilst only a couple of pools between them, Big Fred is way more powerful. On the second game I used him definitely. Deployed behind a house as he was staring through the window at some cheese (possibly brie, probably halloumi). He then worked as a counter-charge unit. During this skirmish he ate a wounded Big Fred, got confused and chewed on a building (mystical), finished off that Hex flying wagon thingy, used ghost calvary as toothpicks and then bared down upon a cowering necromancer. In the third game everyone teamed-up on him so his damage output was greatly reduced before he did anything (only a 5+ save and no regeneration).
  9. Thanks. It is this one: http://www.gamemat.eu/our-products/battle-mats/6-x4-g-mats/6-x4-g-mat-battleground/en/
  10. On Saturday we played a three-player game, and then followed up with two four-player games (Uneasy Alliances and A Convergence of Fate). Here are some images: Table setup Game one Game two setup 4 player games

    Events UK: Alliance

Have a do to attend that month so can't make anything else. I'm sure this'll be a belter.
  12. For the final step may I recommend Yamazaki. My favourite.
  13. That is exactly what I plan to do. It'll be my first attempt doing it at this scale but my glaze medium is ready for action.
  14. Basecoats down on Colin Dent (enough to put him on the table this Saturday):
  15. What are your steps for creating for the base?
  16. The stone steps on the edge of the base compliment the position/movement of the model. I like it.
  17. Thanks, Mehman. I have had my eye on one of those Overlord Bastion kits for a while...
  18. That knight is looking good. The more dynamic pose brings it to life; the rank and file models are a little flat.
  19. Thanks, Bottle. I'll be using them for some games of AoS this Saturday and will take photos.
  20. Looks great; especially the base. The model is one of the few that accurately conveys have terrifying it'd be to actually come across something like this.
