  1. That's a new one on me. Must've missed it. What/where is this?
  2. You can still take GA Chaos command traits and artifacts, yes?
  3. Yeah. It's kinda cool that StD are the only faction that can, in effect summon one.
  4. I suppose that you COUld look at it that way, at least for strictly StD, but to make it not available for the other factions tells me otherwise. The DP would be theonly demon summonable in this regard. All other demons need the corresponding type of points pertaining to marks. The DP is specifically mentioned in regard to Dark Apotheosis. I'm afraid that, until a battletome is released, StD will be unable to summon at all, unless marked.
  5. As far as I know, DPs aren't summonable at all. At least there's no points listed for them in GHB18 for Tzeentch, Slaanesh or Khorne, and they aren't shown in the maggot kin book. Looks like Apotheosis is the only way to bring them on after initial deployment..... kinda weird, imo.
  6. I just ordered a Mamuk from GW. $99. It's probably going to need a bit of converting, but Wth. It's not like I'm gonna use it that extensively. It'll be a project to work on at least.
  7. Where is this? It states in the core rules under "Command Abilities" that you get one command point for each war scroll battalion in your army. There is no change to this in the Designers commentary as pertaining to Command Abilities.
  8. I don't agree.... maybe it's harder to get any spells off, but I sure as Hell wanna be able to deny some of my opponents spells with that 30" range for unbinding. I don't particularly like just sweeping my stuff off the table to spell damage without at least TRYING to stop some of them.....
  9. You have no battleline units except knights (StD alliance only) and the one chariot, These won't get you very far. You'll need warriors and marauders.
  10. Idk.... seems a little light on magic. Maybe swap out the poxbringer for a sorcerer? At least then you can take mutter grub. If you are worried about Tzeentch or toads you have to figure out a way to get more spell unbinding in your list.
  11. So a "pure" Nurgle build (oxymoron if I ever saw one?) can contain anything from the Tamurkhans horde, StD (marked Nurgle) demons or rot bringers. Sounds like a great big pile of Nurgle-y fun to me.
  12. Ok, this might be a dumb question, but with all the new rules/wordings, is Tamurkhans horde still considered Nurgle as far as trees, spells, wheel etc?
  13. Yes, it states that the SAME UNIT can't be affected in the same phase. So, no multiple Harbys, for example. I can live with that.
  14. This is a can of worms right now that I feel is being blown out of proportion. I will play it as I always have until the FAQs prove me wrong. The wording is too ambiguous (gasp) for me to rearrange my approach.
  15. By your reasoning here, the only units that you'd be able to bring would be Archie, gaunt summoners and varanguard. I truly believe that NOT to be the case. PTWB will be able to be played as it has in the past, albeit at a higher cost (rightfully so)
  16. Nope. It's a MORTAL NURGLE battalion. Those are the keywords that are pertinent. Hence marked units of marauders and warriors become battleline for it.
  17. As well as the fact that it can be just as hard for your opponent to unbind it. A spell that is harder to cast is also harder to unbind.....unless he's playing Tzeentch or has Kroak on the table. Make him use those unbind attempts. Something else will get through......
