    1. Blood and Glory. 4 objectives, 1 in each 1/4. You capture by having most models on the objective at end of battle round. It stays yours until your opponent claims it (you only need models there to claim it, after that it remains in your control). Game ends if you control all 4. Control most at the end of round 5 for Major. if a draw then most VPs get a minor. 2. Border Wars - 4 objectives. 2 in centre of territories, 2 on centre line. most models in 6" to control, at the end of a turn. Remain in control until claimed by enemy. Score objective points each turn. 1pt in own territory. 2 points on centre line, 4 points in opponents territory. Most objective points wins major. in a tie, most VPs get minor. 3. Gifts from the heavens - 2 random objective location sin each players 2nd hero phase. You need models nearby to claim and No Enemy. Score for each objective you control at end of own turns. Points = to battle round.

I'm not sure it's needed. The battleplans are very hard to draw. A 10 point swing could be a decider. VPS are a tie breaker. It's better to lose with a big score than draw with a low one.

    HOW TO SUBMIT EVENTS.

I'll have a look tomorrow. The auto link might be broken.
  5. Hi Joe, Welcome to TGA Community. The rules say there are no bases. If thats how you feel then carry on as usual and nothing has changed and nothing in here matters. If you want to know what is the best/'correct/generally agreed upon right base size for XXX unit (as many, many other people have asked already) then I hope this guide is useful to you.

    New Features

Changes are afoot. I will be changing the design of the site over the next month. This layout was great to get set-up but has thrown up some issues that I am unable to resolve so I am looking for a new website skin. Don't panic is you wake up one day and it all looks different! If anyone is a web developer with IPS forum experience feel free to get in touch.

    Back to Base-ics!!

It looks great! It also looks an amazing amount of work!
  10. Review episode is up. Expect more episodes coming soon looking at the various parts of the book in more details http://baddice.co.uk/generals-handbook-review/
  11. Just a note guys, Its not ok to be posting the images from the books. Feel free to chat about them though.
  12. Thats all for now folks. As much I would love to spend all night answering questions I have plenty to go at here for my review episode. It will be live some time tomorrow! Feel free to keep the questions coming and I'll try to cover them all on the podcast
  13. I disagree. The book is about playing games. It has a battle in progress in the front. Khorgus Kull is the bad guy of the Realmgate wars and tournament gamers are the bad guys of the hobby. I really like it.
  14. Only formations in GA books and Battletomes seem to have points.
  15. Summoning. set aside xxx points at the start. Spend these on units you add during the game via summoning or similar. Flesheater courts style reinforce units is free. But can't exceed starting side. You don't need to declare your 'summoning pool' SCGT style.
  16. Once you have 1 leader and 3 battle line you can spend anything anywhere (so no max 50% style limits like in 8th)
  17. Army builds are similar to SCGT but you have restrictions on unit types. At 2000 points. 1-6 leaders 3+ battleline max 4 of each artillery and behemoths. Some units are only battleline if whole army is in a single faction.

  19. Points structure is similar to clash/SCGT. You buy a unit of models. You can duplicate them up to a max size per unit. e.g. Judicators are 160 points for 5 Your unit size can be 5 to 20. So you pay 160 for 1-5 320 for 6-10 and so on if you only had 7 Judicators you can still field them but would pay for 6-10 The cover is awesome!!!!!!
  20. There's a really cool house rule section that basically says you can use this book as a guide and do what you like with is. Tournaments make tweek things or your own gaming group may prefer to introduce own house rules. They site measuring to bases as one of these.

  22. It's 169 pages. No such thing as relics. There are Artifacts and comment traits to go with Allegiance abilities. Some cool old hammer throwbacks here! Chaos Runeblade, talisman of protection, clook of mist and shadows and cursed book. And lots more.
  23. There are 3 main campaign types. Path to glory, Map, matrix and ladder. PTG is a narrative army building campaign with ability upgrades and a race to most glory points Map show how to play for area with location bonus in games. Matrix is similar to the old iPad/digital campaign sets where 1 game effects the next. Ladder is like a tournament style league system.
