  1. I fancy a slice of this, just got to check with work and I’ll confirm.
  2. On second thoughts its a bit on the small size I’ll go with the first one ?
  3. @HobbyHammer if we can use the Bloodtooths/Ironsunz would this be allowed? (with suitable name changes of course)
  4. @Chris Tomlin thanks very informative. Sounds like warpaint is what I’m after to provide a bit of spot colour and I guess I can borrow some tribal designs.
  5. Well I guess it would be Warpaint really but in my minds eye I was thinking something on the lines of tribal tattoos maybe something Maori esque. But I’m not completely stuck on the idea.
  6. I’m considering adding tattoos to my Bonesplitterz (picture above to show scheme) does anyone have and advice on how to achieve a nice effect? I’m thinking red (possibly blood red) or orange might work. Any thoughts would be greatfully received.
  7. I find them to be in the right place, very useful depending on how you will be playing your army but not necessarily a must take. The extra artifact and reduction in deployment drops makes most battalions very useful even if their base rules are lacklustre
  8. The Destruction factions, other than ones with a Battletome, are a bit Battalion deficient as they didn’t have any in the GA book. I don’t think Soulblight or Nighthaunt have any either.
  9. @HobbyHammer next level stuff pal. Looking forward to seeing the whole Mojgorox Brayherd experience.
  10. I'll second that, it was a really enjoyable day of AoS. Cheers fellas.
  11. Hell yeah, not played against Beastclaw before, I'd be keen to have a match up.
  12. Cheers bud, that'll be helpful. I did notice Ultimate Ninja UK Ltd nearby when I had a map search.
  13. This is a really interesting post. Something I was not aware of at all. It is very helpful when painters take the time to explain this sort of thing as it's not something that gets explained very often.
  14. @Sehryth7 sorry more questions, is there parking at the venue?
  15. If we are allowed grudges, I would like to grudge @Rich please. Also I'm not going to be able to access a printer will hand written lists be ok?
  16. Oh dear mines on a cabbage base, it ain't going to come off either. I Guess most opponents won't mind as a large circular base is less advantageous than a oval. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. You'll be able to go direct, it's in the painting and modelling section. It may be a page or two in, I updated it last week but there's a lot of traffic in that section. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. And for a little bit of shameless self promotion. http://www.tga.community/forums/topic/10191-scratch-built-idol/ [emoji5] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. It's not plastic but I've got one of these https://puppetswar.eu/product.php?id_product=278 it not too shabby and reasonably priced. Some of the big things for Warmachine/Hordes might be in plastic and work, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Fat hairy men in uniform, it just gets better ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Sweet Mork (or Gork) that's awesome. @HobbyHammer will you be employing uniformed ladies to push the objective markers round the board with sticks in the manner of a vintage war film? (You'll be getting a like when they reset it's been a busy day ?)
  22. I've been very excited since learning that RoE18 is going to be siege based. The my room and leave are booked. My plans are as follows (although as with all things these may go astray). I'll be bringing Olrog Iron Ead The Prophet of the Waaagh the greatest Orruk Boss to walk the Realms (way harder than Krunk who is too scared to turn up [emoji6]). Because I'll be using most of the models I've painted for RAW I'm going to have time to try something a bit more adventurous. First I'm going for a unit of converted Ard Boys to fit with the Ironjaw/Bonesplitter mix theme of my army. Next I'm going to try and build Olrog's War machine, which is something I've been banging on about in the Rise Of Empires online campaign. Here's is a very early WIP shot Part of the further narrative is Olrog's increasing ability to control the Wurrgog power of his Boys, hopefully this War machine will illustrate this. Finally and most ambitiously for me I'm going to try for a useable display board that will be appropriate to the overall theme of the campaign and my army. This will be a first for me but I'd really like to give it a go. I have made a scenic table before but nothing on the themed (and more artistic) nature of a display board. Now that I've posted this it'll give be a more incentive to get it finished and not just look like a big talker Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Interesting I did hear on a podcast that us narrative types do like to recite poetry to each other [emoji13]? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
